Seems a lot of Fans are happy just to blame Howe for our current situation and not the owners who clearly decided to risk not improving the squad in January and freshen it up. The amount of games we have played is catching up with us and we rely two much on Tonali and Bruno #nufc

@RossyShezza People have been saying all week since the Barcelona game that he needs to give Thaiw a break as he looks jaded and his starting to make mistakes. Then when he does swap him out fans up in arms. And I get why Trippier has Ben picked and his leadership is going to be key today

@BlancoInsight @nufcfoodbank He didn’t check because VAR did instruct him to. As they agreed with his onfield decision that the pull back wasn’t enough to give a penalty

@bazzlebear77 @EPLBible the fact yon think a player is not allow to put his foot on the ground just in case Palmer wants to put his foot there is the funniest thing I have heard all season

@bazzlebear77 @EPLBible Yes because his foot is going to toward the ball not player ya muppet. U try and insult by saying my opinion is because I have never played football despite e knowing nothing about me and yet every ex professional football/pundit that has commented agrees that it is t a penalty

@DavidDonnelly3 U don’t even know if he wild hand got the ball let alone scored it was whipped in at pace and I think if he felt he could get the pull from Trippier would b never of stopped him. Detonate pull but he made a meal of it knowing he wouldnt reach the ball to get a decent shot off

People saying the Ref is all for Barca. Tripps should be sent off!! He would have scored if he didn't get held back. Why the fuck is he even playing!! Again it's this jobs for the fkn boys mentality EH has. #nufc

@top_bananas @nickdemarco_ @JacquiOatley He never mentions the PL so you’re just assuming wrongly that’s what he is talking about. Also CFC reported something that happened before the Pts deduction penalty came in. So it would be like the Police trying to give pts on your licence after u tell them u sped once in 1970

@nickdemarco_ @JacquiOatley Nick. With all due respect. Fuck off. The qualification in this case vs previous PL point case deductions doesn’t stack up.

When it is argued, in various football disputes, that points deductions must be imposed even for inadvertent breaches, in order to vindicate compliant clubs, one has to wonder whether that reflects a genuine commitment to consistent strict enforcement in all cases, or is simply a position adopted for the purposes of a particular case. Consistency is very important in sport - the lack of it can undermine public confidence in the integrity of the whole game. I do not comment on any one individual case, I just hope that those involved in the decision making processes can see the merit in treating each case according to its particular circumstances rather than being inflexible in some, but very flexible in others. That, I am sure, would help restore the confidence in sports arbitration we all wish for.

@bazzlebear77 @EPLBible This is the exact moment first contact was made and it is clear that it’s Palmer’s foot contacting the top of Woltemades foot that is not a foul regardless of how biased you are

@bazzlebear77 @EPLBible And eveb If there was you can’t say 100% that Woltemade intimated the contact as his foot is going for the ball. Maybe Palmer was looking for a penalty so initiated the contact. I mean the fact he held is shin like he had been pollaxed would suggest he was trying to fool the ref

@ArsenalNews_Hub One that helps PL keep the other clubs in check but doesn’t punish Man C to seriously that it impacts then. Wouldn’t be surprised if an immediate transfer ban will be given but PL have agreed to give Man C a few windows to refresh the squad first hence the spending recently

@ArsenalNews_Hub The PL know that they can’t afford for Man City to go unpunished because if they do it sets a precedent and the flood gates will open and to an extent Man City know that too. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they are trying to come with a solution together 1/2

Why doesn’t the Premier League want to give a verdict? The hearing ended in 2024, and now it’s 2026, yet nothing has been announced. Other clubs have already faced punishment — Chelsea F.C. received a ban and fines, Everton F.C. were deducted points and fined, and several others have been penalised. But when it comes to Manchester City F.C. — nothing. Two years since the hearing was completed in 2024 and the football world is still waiting. I don’t know… but sometimes it feels like oil money might be playing a very powerful role behind the scenes.

@bazzlebear77 @EPLBible Why if there is contact it’s naturally a foul against the NUFC player and not the CFC player. You could just as easily say thats a free kick to Woltemade as he is putting his foot down Palmer kicks him. There is no movement from Woltemade towards Palmers leg so why is it a foul

@bazzlebear77 @EPLBible The answer you were looking for is No. There was no contact before Woltemade planted his foot. Even if there was why is that a foul because he goes to plant his foot not foul Palmer. Has the striker have some right of way where you can’t put your foot where he wants to put his ?

@PrinceBrobb @agbnufc_ Where is his post did he say NUFC as an EPL club were superior ??? Where do you get that he has any kind of superiority let alone a false one . He is literally saying it’s going to be hard task but playing with no fear is when we usually play our best football like against PSG

@chris_windsor @GeordieBoi7 @tier_1st It’s not a pen in a million years. Palmer stood on Woltemades foot then threw himself to the ground holding his shin. And VAR did check it like they do every incident in the box. They wanted to release the Audio but all you can hear is the p*ssing themselves laughing at Palmer

Liam Rosenior couldn’t believe Cole Palmer wasn’t given a penalty and started begging for it. How on earth is that not a penalty when there’s clear contact?

@Brady1892 @R34List_ @CoachMeron Wissa had no preseason and then missed 4 to 5 months with injury. He has comeback into a squad where training time is limited because we have being playing every 3/4 days. So he has not have the chance to get up to full speed. His whole game is about pace not hold up play.

@R34List_ @CoachMeron Wissa has been worse, neither have shown they are capable to lead the line for us. We need a proper striker this summer, one who is a proper box predator, preferably some mobilit with ability to run in behind, hold up the ball and a threat in the box. Basic striker requirements

@lynxerinn @Regista10_ It’s bullshit half the players don’t interact with anyone in the corridor. And even if he is upset at not getting on, rather that than someone who is over the moon he isn’t playing. Or it could be just isn’t feeling 100% we have already had 4 players catch the bug going around

@Regista10_ U do know he has missed most of the season with a serious injury. Players need time to get back to full speed after serious injuries. Look how dodgy Botman was when he came back. I’d be more pissed if he was hi5ing everyone having not got on. If he’s upset it means he cares
