Embarrassingly bad performance from Killie today, it's hard to know where to start. Manager is being far too loyal to several players who are continually poor. There's an argument that the whole starting defence and midfield could be replaced for the Hearts game #depressing

December: 2 from 18 points Hearts 1-1 Kilmarnock Kilmarnock 0-3 Rangers Aberdeen 2-1 Kilmarnock Kilmarnock 0-1 Falkirk St Mirren 0-0 Kilmarnock Dundee 2-1 Kilmarnock A month where a big point away to Hearts was just a stop gap as thenpoor form continued gaining 2 draws and 4 defeats from 6 to end the year cut adrift with Livingston at the foot of the table. The Rangers defeat and red card ultimately cost Kettlewell his job after only 7 months in charge as he was sacked on the Monday after the Aberdeen game. A large majority of the fanbase will argue it was done too late whilst others suggest a clause was met like the sacking of previous managers Allessio and Wright. Season ticket holders were back in force for Falkirk as we looked for a bounce under the interim charge of Kris Doolan but unfortunately only 1 draw and 2 defeats with 1 goal scored has left fans sole searching to what 2026 brings us. Fans altercation with players, losing mentality, no confidence, no fight, lack of composure, pace and creativity and a disconnect from the board to the fans in terms of communication has fans worried that we could be playing our trade in Championship. The board need to get this next appointment right and if it means spending money in January to avoid it then so be it as relegation will ultimately cost us more.

📆 Kilmarnock review 2025 January: 4 from 12 points Kilmarnock 2-0 St Mirren Kilmarnock 0-1 Ross County Kilmarnock 0-0 Motherwell Celtic 2-1 Kilmarnock (Scottish Cup) Hearts 3-2 Kilmarnock A Bruce Anderson double started off the year with a bang before 1 point from the next 6 which ultimately killed any momentum after an ok festive period. Narrow defeat to Celtic ending the month with a 5 goalfest in Gorgie where a goalkeeping error cost us at least a point.

Don’t think anyone has said it but the Premier Division celebrates its 50th anniversary today. The Scottish League moved from 18 teams to 10 - a similar format and “brand” that has effectively lasted half a century. @KFCView The reality is that the cracks appeared post split last season where we shipped 9 goals against Old Firm and weren’t competitive in either of those games. Two transfer windows later the defence hasn’t improved , we are shipping more goals and clean sheets are a rarity.
