So John Henry & Michael Edwards couldn’t even show up at Anfield yesterday. The very least they owed the fans and this football club was the respect of thanking Mo Salah & Andy Robertson for giving absolutely everything to Liverpool for nearly a decade. Liverpool’s problems are no longer just on the pitch. The issues behind the scenes are even bigger, and anyone pretending otherwise is in denial. Right now, the club looks directionless, disconnected, and completely all over the place.

I genuinely started to feel bad for Arne Slot when I saw him sitting alone during Mohamed Salah and Robertson’s farewell yesterday. It made me reflect on how hard many of us have gone at him this season over Liverpool’s failures. What if he has seen all the hate online? At some point, would it not start to feel like bullying? I still think Liverpool need to sack him, but that moment honestly made me feel for him a little.

Klopp apparently believed adding Van Dijk and Alisson would magically make Liverpool title contenders/winners in 2018 when he could have just coached klavan and Karius into world class footballers.

Look at the potential squad exodus and uncertainty around this Liverpool squad heading into the summer. The scary part is if the club do not start making decisions, half of these players will just walk out the door for free. Alisson – Injury prone goalkeeper with 1 year left on his deal. Joe Gomez – Not reliable enough physically, injury prone, with 1 year left on his deal. Ibou Konaté – Contract uncertainty and could easily end up leaving for free if this drags on. Andy Robertson – Will leave for free. Wataru Endo – Not technically good enough long term, with 1 year left on his deal. Curtis Jones – Wants to be a starter but is not good enough to be one consistently, with 1 year left on his deal. Alexis Mac Allister – Physically declined badly this season and the club do not seem desperate to hand him a new deal. Federico Chiesa – Clearly not rated by Slot and looks certain to be sold this summer. Mo Salah – Will leave for free. Cody Gakpo – I personally think he should be sold. Four seasons in and he still does not excel at anything. This is what happens when you constantly delay decisions instead of refreshing the squad at the right time.

One thing I take from this season is how the Diogo Jota tragedy was/is just swept under the carpet as any mitigating circumstance. And that's even by the supposedly level headed sensible accounts. They use any other context but just refuse to acknowledge that this had an affect

I've said many times already that if Liverpool get the right signings this summer, find a way to keep players available and both performances and results still don't improve by October/November, Slot has to go. I'm a Liverpool fan, not any coach or player's fanboy/minion.

Everything Slot says or does is being filtered through frustration and emotion now. Positive? - “Delusional” Honest? - “Weak” Analytical? - “No accountability” Just say you want him sacked instead of inventing random personality flaws and twisting it to fit your frustration.

I think FSG need to understand that the fans make up the football club, and without the fans, Liverpool wouldn’t even exist. So if the fans are showing their frustration, they need to take it into consideration. The “Liverpool way” has cost us a number of trophies. It’s clear that 95.99% of Liverpool fans don’t want to see Arne Slot at the club next season, and that’s very obvious. #LFC

Slot is bang on, Chelsea, Spurs & Newcastle have all had horrendous seasons and haven’t faced anywhere near the challenges we have. We got CL football even with the absolute chaos we have faced! That should be praised not lambasted!

Jarell Quansah is one of those deals Liverpool may have played smart. Sell him, let him develop properly in Germany, keep the buy-back clause, then reassess when he’s more mature. If the price drops in 2027 and he keeps improving, would you bring him back for €65m in 2027?
