The more I think about it, the more I think Nina would have been a great choice for this year.
1) She had one of the best threes and merch that dropped for 24.
2) Representation matters. She's Masc-presenting and black woman.
3) It helps her because it introduces people who are probably not familiar with her in the art space to her work.

I remember that day well. It was a Friday. We went out that night, and I remember it clearly because we were listening to DMX on the way to the club, and it was the first time I’d ever heard someone say that a song was ‘tight’. Great times, but sadly those days are gone.
