Hi @Edinburgh_CC the poor road surface situation on Myreside road is forcing cyclists swerve to avoid the bumps. Its a downhill section which makes it worse for an unsuspecting cyclist. Who can get this done in your absence @DrScottArthurMP @SpokesLothian

People watching videos or playing games on phones without headphones, in a confined space like a bus, train or cafe, require a slap around the chops with a medium to large-sized haddock.

@cwkcalvin @sambookerlab Hi Calvin. I see two different application sites for the project. EASTBIO PhD project which Sam posted and the SIDB portal which you mentioned. Can you clarify that? Thanks.

@johnomason Ooo I have heard and been recommended Roti King. This does look very good. I should try this next time I am down in London.

@sproul_lab Highly recommended. Gopal’s Corner in Victoria is run by the same people and is also excellent 😊

Does anyone know of an MSc and/or PhD program in Neuro in Europe or the UK where a talented and motivated applicant from Nigeria might be considered for a funded slot? Please DM or email me. Thanks.

Very pleased to be able to say that I have been promoted to Reader @EdinburghUni 🎉 Thanks for the support from all my wonderful team members and colleagues @mrc_hgu @EdinUni_IGC. Maybe this means I will have some more time to tackle the guilty pile of papers I need to read😅

@professor_dave It's pretty easy really. From a standing start, you just take out £53B in loans and pay out £72B in dividends. I'm sure even someone failing GCSE maths can see that won't work.

How can you go bust when you run a monopoly business where you have a fixed and defined customer base who are literally forced to pay your bills? You have to be completely incompetent surely? bbc.co.uk/news/business-…
