@PSessionsYT What's insane is that Bethesda literally created settlements/CAMP in Fallout 4 and 76 and there is a great incentive to build and maintain one, especially in Survival Mode. They literally just copied the system almost 1:1 and still managed to make it bad and pointless.

This is not a fair comparison when games have a lot of dialogue from side missions and such, but a book only has the main story. A fair comparison would be the main story from the game only versus the book.
