@JamieBrysonLLB Absolute nonsense. He didn’t give the penalty. VAR did. He had no option but to agree when presented with the visual evidence.

Westmeath are expecting 20,000 supporters to travel to the Leinster final. The expected Crowd according to Croke Park is 35,000 Could Dublin be outnumbered in their own home ground? 😀

@Seansheehan62 @SmallerFishGAA Wouldn’t be too many Westmeath fans there if Dublin did insist on playing at home (PP). That would be another stick used to beat up the Dubs if they did that.

@JamieBrysonLLB No unanimity/ I think it was a penalty. There was two fouls both of which should have resulted in penalties. You conveniently forget that the referee failed to award a penalty until instructed to do so by VAR.

It appears there is unanimity amongst every single pundit, football supporter, club, player, ex-player & the grannies down the super market. Other than Celtic and cheating John Beaton, no one thinks the 98th minute penalty it’s anything other that disgusting.

As someone who grew up (aged six-twelve) a Rangers fan, desperate for Hearts to win the league, there's nothing controversial about VAR giving Celtic a penalty for this. It's a penalty.

O’Neill is a hateful individual who has tarnished his own reputation as a decent football man by embracing the cheating & corruption. Hearts have won the league fair & square. They deserve it.

This John Heslin news is bonkers, i don't believe it. Only comparable situation is Stephen O'Neill in 2008. He came back 3 weeks before the All Ireland final at 28. Heslin is 34 next month, retired for a full season and a half and is coming back a week before a Leinster final

@MarcusMacBride Growing up in the 60s & 70s there were lads in my class who were considered “slow”, “wild” or “strange”. Those were the descriptions used because we knew nothing about Autism etc.

Growing up in Ireland, for the first 20 years of my life I didn't know, meet or even see anyone with Autism. It was completely unheard of. Now the condition is widespread. What changed? And what is being done to prevent it?

@ComedianConn At least they don’t have to worry about relegation unlike a Leinster team. Very unfair that there is relegation in one province and not the other.

Waterford will be missed if they are eliminated when they play Limerick. They bring great colour to the game and their fans are passionate hurling people. Something is wrong with a system that sees them completely out of the championship during the best hurling months of the year. For me the all Ireland should be a straight knockout . Put the league front and center then and make it the priority competition. Then every county is playing during the good summer months.
