There were around 68 test matches in Virat Kohli's test career, that had a batting average < 30. Majority due to the playing conditions, and a very few of them can be attributed to the opponent's batting. Now 68 of 123 tests, means almost 55 percent of tests being low scoring. @johnson201337 @udit_buch ya agreed about the rhythm part but till 2019 we used to play lot more ODI's as compared to post covid and our primary focus was on WTC and that's the reason we prepared spinning tracks in home conditions that's why i felt at around end of 2021 he could ve taken break from T20's

@arunn049 @udit_buch I was talking more about rhythm bro in odis he used to play like 100 balls those make him feel in rhythm unlike t20s...in 2023 he didn't play ranjis but he did really well in tests because of rhythm the odis set anyways he gave up his fav format

@johnson201337 @udit_buch Yes agreed about ODI part improving his test game but we should also look into the fact that we mostly play ODI on flat pitches and for test cricket it was different so playing domestic red ball format was the Ideal way.

@arunn049 @udit_buch Last yr in ipl I was thinking same bro like what's the point in playing ipl after retirement in t20s they should have gone and played county cricket as thenext series was in england that would help them and with that kind of flat pitches they gave definitely 2-3hundreds possible

@arunn049 @udit_buch That's the difference bro he was the same guy who called sachin for help after 2014 eng tour and his in tests after that was outstanding till covid...due to his personal life he just didn't put more effort like u said playing Ranji... should have again approached Sachin 🙂
