@stevebone1 Could be more last day drama like last season. The NLS is a crazy division. Just a handful of games left but just 11 points covers the top 11. Can’t be another league like it 😍⚽️

90+5: Bull corner headed on by Troak. Blocked on the line by a Hastings hand. Last minute penalty which, if I'm honest, I don't think was penalty. Just don't tell anyone. HAS 1-1 HU

@mickcatlin1 Personally think the FA killing off reserve team football was such a stupid decision. Players used to play for a club now it’s just a team. Players not selected for the first team got their “minutes” in the reserves.

Let me elaborate, there should be a limit of 2 at anytime in the squad & you have to play more than 10 games to participate in any playoff games. Stop suspended players playing in different leagues. Makes a mockery of being suspended. If you’re banned sit & watch your mates.

There aren't too many people in the middle bit of the Venn diagram of people who want @hantscricket to do well and people who want @SussexCCC to do well, but I'm here and am wishing both counties well for the season ahead.

Referees Watch is back👀 This was given as a red card. I can’t lie - I think that’s top three worst decisions of the season. Absolute shocker. Thoughts? #WokingFC🔴 || #Alty🔴

@LiamClif1 Why do we need to know? As it is now in the public domain, the sporting integrity of the division has been compromised.

@trevk37 @Love_non_league @BallerLeagueUK There’s more than enough players to go around. If you can’t fulfil your club obligations then there’s someone ready and waiting to take your place. Personally, I don’t see the problem.

@stevebone1 I’m not sure how sporting integrity is maintained now this is in the public domain. There is an argument to remove them from the division and expunge their record.

Grassroots football. You get used to games off for weather. But on a beautiful day like today, to drive from Lancing to Chichester to find out the game’s off so late cos they only have 6 players? Must have known last night. Shame on the “coach” involved. 🤬

@Salisburyrovers Never thought of any of those things before you mentioned them. My advice to you would be to stick to the football and continue to treat people as you would like to be treated.

Rovers launched ten years ago! Before Brexit. Before Trump. Before Covid. Before Reform. Before the Manosphere. Before Twitter became the hate fuelled “X” project. What do you think the last 10 years has done to the idea of community & connection? 🤯 #itsallaboutme

@trevk37 It’s the business part of the season, the culmination of everyone’s hard work over 40 plus games. Serious footballers sole effort and focus should be on their team.

@MyFootballCoach Not sure you can improve decision making but a good technique enables you to execute the decision.

Ball mastery doesn’t just improve technique — it improves decision-making. The more comfortable a player is on the ball, the more options they can see and execute under pressure. Poor technique limits decisions. Strong technique expands them. That’s why time on the ball isn’t separate from the game — it’s what allows players to solve it.

@HLTCO No, linesmen create a red line made by the last defender, when it is broken by a blue attacker they know that player is in an offside position. It isn’t made by feet, arms or noses but by their shirts.

My overarching view (and I appreciate it’s not universally accepted, let’s face it, nothing is on here anymore) is that the daylight rule would be superior to this. I don’t feel you should be offside by a toe or a nose, if you’re level, you’re on. That’s basically what it was before VAR and I think it would be better.
A@fightingcock_11

@HLTCO By the rules it’s offsides though. If you start allowing some because they “don’t gain an advantage” then that brings more subjectivity into it when that’s the last thing VAR needs

#VAR has eliminated cheating, offside goals, ball over the line disputes, it would be madness to not use the technology & return to the dinosaur times of the naked eye ⚽🧐

@KentishFootie Leagues are too big, they favour quantity over quality. One Saturday league fixture is enough per week.

I say it every single season, there should be more midweek League games played during August, September and October. Postponed games should be re-arranged within six weeks (like the Isthmian League) and County/League Cup ties should be slotted in after Christmas.

Footballers warned: saying “Come on lads” now off-limits. Berks & Bucks FA roll out an “inclusive language” guide to engineer a more “welcoming” game.
