Back in 1991 I drew a comic strip, sent it into #RTE's #TheDen and Zig and Zag acted it out and did the voices and everything. Prob greatest achievement of my childhood. Thank you @DoubleZCreative for unearthing this!

What a sad situation, Uni of Liverpool SLT refusing to direct funding (much of it from students) to staff who will now be catching up on the missed marking from the MAB, and instead opting for more disruption to students 🤦#nastyparty @livuninews

Met HR today offering to STAND DOWN strikes next week if they returned MAB deductions. They utterly refused (no meet halfway-nothing)- taking away 1st years' first ever week of teaching & meaning students will now wait longer for marks. Students-be in NO DOUBT about who to blame!

In the ongoing #UCURising disputes, part of the rhetoric is that whilst some institutions are incredibly wealthy, some of the poorer ones wouldn’t be able to afford the pay rise. So the line is that “the sector” can’t afford to pay ANYWHERE NEAR in line with inflation.. 1/8

I've been saying this a lot but one thing about the current @UCU disputes that really breaks me is how badly the employers are behaving both collectively and individually. USS *should never have been a dispute*. UUK should have looked at what USS was doing and said, "no".
