It can't be *that* hard to create a version of Twitter/X that removes some of the groupthink but still promotes high-quality engagement and content. And is a portal to the rest of the internet rather than a closed ecosystem, always one of the good things about pre-Elon Twitter.

Yeah that sucked and was bad. If you check out my history, you'll know I'm not afraid to criticize the mainstream media. I also had a lot of bad experiences on Twitter circa 2018-2021. It should be a low bar to clear. I don't think the current iteration of X is clearing it.

Two well trained male cop will always be better than 2 well trained female cop in a high stakes violent street confrontation involving 2 males. Therefore, cops should be recuiting the best men for the job, not runninng dumb social experiments. So, yes, we should exclude people by gender when it comes to certain tasks.

If you claim to support egalitarianism, you can’t also demand that men treat women differently because they’re women. You have to pick one. So when you insist “a man should never hit a woman,” you’re explicitly granting women a special exemption based on their sex. That’s not equality; it’s a gendered privilege.
