@johnarnold The theoretical properties are also quite a bit stronger. Most notably independent moderates who would beat either the Rep/Dem head-to-head should win with approval voting but likely still lose with RCV. Of course will need more adoption to validate.

@johnarnold It is a bit earlier on (just adopted in Fargo and St. Louis so far) but the data I’ve seen indicates people are more open to it than RCV so may have a better shot at getting very broad adoption.

@kevinroose I agree that engagement also matters but would interpret the two differently. Reach is more reflective of how News Feed ranking works and engagement is more reflective of what people choose to interact with.

@kevinroose @crowdtangle 6/6 As you've noted, some authoritative sources on COVID information (ie UNICEF, AARP) get more amplification by us. We are removing them from this list since you did, but the fact remains that these posts still get high reach and would otherwise be included in the Top 10.
