@SecScottBessent IRS wait times are still not good. On hold for 2 hours. Was placed on hold then hung up on. Called back and then went to voicemail. Please continue to make this agency more user friendly . Thank you

Dirt Cheap Banks
Dirt Cheap Banks@dirtcheapbanks·
Community banks are the last place in America where a man in a short-sleeve dress shirt can approve a $400,000 loan based on the fact that he went to high school with your dad. There are 4,100 of them left. There were 14,000 in 1984. Every time one gets acquired, a teller named Brenda learns a new software system and a small town loses the only institution that would lend against a combine. The acquirer always says nothing will change. Brenda is gone in eighteen months. The lobby cookies go next. Then the branch closes. Then the building becomes a vape shop. This is not a financial trend. This is the slow administrative murder of the only version of capitalism that ever knew your name.

The entire Commonwealth got Fairfaxed. The saddest part of this is the hateful comments and attitudes I have seen in NOVA toward the rural majority of our state. As a kid growing up in Virginia I didn’t see that. It’s something that has evolved and grown over my lifetime.

TFW your drunk buddy gets kicked out of the bar so you put him in a cab home… but then he shows up 20 minutes later in a different shirt (or the same one inside out)

call me crazy..but the next 12 months are going to create some stupid rich local businesses using Claude + SEO this feels like buying domain names when people thought the internet was a fad not because it was complicated. Because most people didn't take it seriously until it was too late. we’re in that same window again. but this time, the winners won't be the ones with the biggest pockets. it’s how fast you can publish helpful local pages + optimize your Google Business Profile before your competitors even wake up. the stack to win local search didn’t look like this 12 months ago, but now it’s here: → Claude (or ChatGPT): $20-30/month → Google Business Profile: Free → A basic website (WordPress): low cost → Canva/CapCut for simple visuals: Free → Google Search Console + Analytics: Free Total cost to start: Under $100/month.  And people used to pay agencies $1k–$3k/month just to move slowly. Here’s how to use it: Step 1: Find your local keywords with Claude You don’t need to guess anymore. Give Claude your services + your city/areas. Ask it to list: - A “service + location” keywords - “near me” intent keywords - emergency keywords - comparison keywords (best, affordable, etc.) Step 2: Build service area pages (fast) Tell Claude your exact offer, prices, process, and service areas. Ask it to draft pages for each area you serve (one page per area). Then you add the real stuff: photos, reviews, FAQs, and a call button. Step 3: Turn your Google Business Profile into a lead machine Ask Claude to write: - GBP description - services list (with short blurbs) - 20 FAQs + answers - weekly Google Post ideas (offers, tips, before/after) Step 4: Create “proof” content that ranks Claude can turn one job into 10 pieces of content: - a short case study page (“AC repair in Bandra: fixed in 45 mins”) - a Google Post - a simple Reel script - a FAQ update Step 5: Get reviews + replies done in minutes Ask Claude to write 3 review request texts and a review reply template. Then do the only part AI can’t: actually ask customers. This isn’t magic..it’s still local SEO. You can just out-execute now. And in local markets, pace decides who gets the calls.

the 10 most profitable workflows local businesses are buying right now. i've built 47 of these in the last 3 weeks using synta. here's what they pay, what each does, and how fast they deploy: → missed call text-back ($800-1,500) - 3 min client gets a reply in 60 seconds instead of never calling back → review request automation ($500-1,200) - 4 min google reviews triple within the first month → appointment no-show recovery ($1,200-2,500) - 5 min recovers 30-40% of lost revenue automatically → AI receptionist + call routing ($2,000-4,000) - 8 min 24/7 coverage. zero missed calls. zero salaries. → instant quote generator ($1,500-3,000) - 7 min response time drops from 2 days to 2 minutes → client onboarding sequence ($1,800-3,500) - 9 min forms, doc collection, payments - one workflow handles all of it → invoice follow-up + payment recovery ($1,000-2,000) - 4 min late payments drop by 60% without a single awkward phone call → social proof collector ($600-1,200) - 3 min auto-requests testimonials and publishes to google/socials → lead scoring + routing ($1,500-3,000) - 6 min hot leads hit your phone. cold leads get nurtured automatically. → weekly owner dashboard ($1,200-2,500) - 5 min revenue, reviews, leads, appointments - one email every monday morning average build time: 5.4 minutes. average revenue per workflow: $1,750. close rate when you build it live in front of them: 70%. every single one self-heals through synta's MCP. no debugging. no maintenance calls from clients at 11pm. i put together a free PDF with: → all 10 copy-paste prompts (word for word what i type into synta) → pricing calculator by complexity + industry → the live demo script that closes 7 out of 10 → objection handling for "i'll think about it" → synta MCP setup walkthrough (5 min) comment "RETAINER" and i'll send it. synta(.)io - describe the workflow in plain english. it builds, deploys, and fixes itself.
