"I have nothing against the Pope...I'm not fighting with the Pope.... The Pope can say what he wants, and I want him to say what we wants, but I can disagree. [...] I'm sure the Pope is a great guy, I haven't met him." Pitch-perfect example of how political rulers should handle disagreements with spiritual authority—much to the dismay of those would love to drive a wedge between President Trump and American Catholics, most of whom voted for him twice!
@

.@POTUS: "I have nothing against the Pope... If the Pope looked at the 42,000 people that were killed over the last two or three months, as [protesters] with no weapons, no nothing... I have a right to disagree with the Pope."

@martyrmade @michaeljknowles That’s because Obama advocates for policies that make life tangibly worse for the average American while Trump advocates for polices that make life for the average American much better. I think they call this politics

@martyrmade @michaeljknowles One should actually be more forgiving of GOOD presidents than of BAD presidents. This seems somewhat obvious.

The Bible tells me to support the Children of Israel: “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” It says nothing about a Pope. The first Pope was Siricius (384–399 AD). So we went 320 years after Peter's death during the most formative time in the Christian church with NO Vicar of Christ (Christ's representative/deputy on earth)? If the Pope is so important, then how did the early Christian church survive 320 years without one? Sorry but for me, the Pope doesn't "stand in the place of Christ." Jesus does that just fine all by himself.

Yeah, that's it...I'm just going to write an article on this. Doubling down on accusing Fr. Ripperger of divination is too absurd and grave not to be thoroughly refuted.
@

FAQ to save some of you time: • Yes, I submitted the Fr. Ripperger article to my husband first. If he would have told me to scrap it I would have done it in a hot second. I’d follow him to the ends of the earth and back. • No, I have no credentials good enough to satisfy you. I’m a nobody in the world. My family usually likes me though. • No, I didn’t contact the Archdiocese of Denver. Have you ever tried to contact a diocese about anything? Good luck. • Am I a narcissistic fem-tard possessed by the devil to take out holy priests? Goodness, I hope not. (“Fem-tard” is a word Tim Gordon made up. Isn’t he clever?) • No, I do not think that Matthew 18 applies in this case, and no, I don’t want to invite Father R to dinner. Not even a little. • Yes, I stand by the word “disobedience” because it is at the root of every distortion in any vocation. It doesn’t usually start with a big NO but by little justifications. Inches. I think this topic merits a separate article. • Yes, I stand by the word “divination.” Most are completely ignoring this point because it’s creepy but it should be elevated. • Yes, I think Fr. R’s collaboration with vulgar dissident Tim Gordon is a direct fruit of disobedience, hugely disturbing and scandalous, and an immediate danger to families. • Yes, I’m aware that they’re talking about me on podcasts and whatnot. Have at it. One of my prayers before publishing was to surrender my reputation… Which I meant at the time but which is much much harder when it hits. I knew what they would say and they are indeed saying it. • Yes, it hurts. • Yes, I’m fine. I can do this because I am safe and loved. Not everyone has that and it motivates me to write on their behalf. • Yes, it’s worth it. I have already heard stories of liberation from gripping fear and discouragement. • Priests, pastors, laity—please know that some people need to be freed from this unholy fixation, and when they are, they will need TLC in the name of Jesus the Healer. Fr. R is leaving people in a bad state and offers no follow up direction for the vulnerable. It’s all you. • Yes, there are a lot of words in my article. People are complaining about that. Reading is hard. I tried to write to the 5th grade level like they tell you in “how to write articles in an age of reels and no attention span” class but I don’t think I did it. I can’t think of anything else. What am I missing?

@LizzieMarbach The Catholics who voted don't understand Catholic theology. The most hardcore Marian devotion writers still emphasized that her holiness is but a drop in the ocean compared to God

Very interested in the results here… Catholics: would you say that in terms of holiness & righteousness—is Mary closer other humans or is she closer to God?

@jold_92 @bobby_mum38353 @Austin_Auger @RealPostFolder You don’t deserve one. You have shown yourself incapable of the capacity to think, learn, interpret, or retain knowledge. Any further engagement would be a waste, you have ingrained yourself in your opinion and refuse to listen to or acknowledge truth

@jold_92 @bobby_mum38353 @Austin_Auger @RealPostFolder It’s truly amazing how miraculously wrong you have been at every opportunity. It has to be a deliberate choice because there’s no way creatures like you are allowed to speak and exist

@jold_92 @bobby_mum38353 @Austin_Auger @RealPostFolder So not only are you an idiot you’re also unfathomably media illiterate. May whatever gods you pray to help you because you’re going to need all the help you can get in life. You might want to brush up on that phrase, its history, and what Superman actually fights for
