BREAKING. Italy extends the 5-day quarantine for arrivals from the UK but, after that, the UK vaccination certificates will be valid to access any activity or place that requires an EU "Green Pass".

HOW is there still no update on travel to Italy from the UK re quarantine measures?? We fly on Sunday and will go regardless as we can quarantine, but it’s crazy to not let people know with close to 24 hours notice 🤯

@TheyShill @BenPBradshaw @antoguerrera Why would they have to cancel flights and hotels? If they booked knowing quarantine is on? They just get 5 extra days holidays.

@AQcouncillor @British_Airways Italy: Hi, any information about what is happening after the 30th of July ? Do the passengers from the UK still have to quarantine for 5 days? I’m supposed to fly on the 31st of July and still no news!

That Italian Tourist website has just been changed to say its advice is only until 30 July (!). And the ref to 5-day required quarantining for arrivals from UK until 31 Dec has been removed. Now all we need is for a green light from Saturday - when my flight to Venice is booked!
