@DanielPriestley You have no idea what it’s remotely like to live on an income as low as UK disability. As a very wealthy man, you could spend £800 on one item, and not bat an eyelid. For me, that £800 has to last me an entire month. Spending £20 is painful for me. The wealth gap is the problem.

When people argue for equality, it’s worth noting that in most cases it results in a lower standard of living. The easiest way to create an equal society is to remove the wealthiest and leave the poorest poorer. Wealth inequality in itself is not a problem if everyone’s standard of living is improving. If 1000 billionaires relocated to the UK, hired 500k people, invested and paid tax’s the inequality would be beneficial. If the remaining 150 billionaires in the UK leave and then the few thousand £100m+ go too then we will have more equality but we will be poorer for it. The real focus should always be on raising living standards. Watch out for those who get angry at this idea, they are ideologically opposed to wealth creation and driven by envy.

Badenoch has been strong on a lot recently, but she’s been pretty disappointing on the Nowak case and policing lately. Jenrick is not letting her off the hook and to be fair to him, he didn’t back down one inch despite Peston angrily hammering away and clearly trying to force a climb-down.

The reason why this is stupid is that both killers are in prison. The debate, if derek actually killed george floyd, it doesn't really matter he's in jail for life. Same with this kid's murder. A lot of people feel uncomfortable about saying this publicly but there is simply no denying it. We have to speak honestly about this issue: equalities legislation, which was ostensibly about making sure there were no second class citizens created a racial hierarchy of citizenship where people are treated differently because of the colour of their skin. Some of us have been pointing this out for a long time. I believe the evidence for this claim is now incontrovertible, no matter how uncomfortable the subject may be for some people. Equalities legislation must be amended or scrapped and replaced with something that restores the principle of equality before the law. Indeed, you'd think equality before the law would be the very central principle of any law on equality. This must become a minimum basic commitment for any party that seeks to form the next Government. Any party that fails to make this commitment has failed in its basic duty of understanding the catastrophic damage that has been done to race relations in this country by a decade of woke insanity.

Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan. George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British. Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events. And we all know why. During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way. They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin. And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his. This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin. This needs to stop.
