Russia's greatest battlefield advantage right now is in manpower, and thousands of additional North Korean infantry in Kursk, even without combat experience and coordination problems, would compound that advantage. Over the past three months, Russia has been advancing at a faster rate than any point since 2022, and, if Russia begins an offensive in Zaporizhzhia, this would stretch Ukrainian forces even more. Western officials should not downplay the risks.
