@pjhlaw @JMPSimor #antivaxxer is a cheap & disingenuous ad hominem slur to attack those with important concerns, promoted as a deflection tool to demonize critical thinkers and avoid discourse by those who don’t want their propaganda challenged. Only users of the term are diminished @JMPSimor

Is this really the best we can do?
We've come so far in the last 100 years and yet so many of us are still trying to justify the killing of our fellow human beings, including the most vulnerable: children.
For what? Ideals? Culture? Religion? Land? Resources? Money? Are any of these things worth the life of your child? I doubt it, but maybe the life of someone else's child? Shame on you. Shame on every single one of you who is willing to sacrifice the life of someone else's son, daughter, brother, sister, mother or father. Shame on you.
You call yourselves Christians, or Jews, or Muslims, but all of these religions believe life is created by God or governed by sacred laws, making it mandatory to respect and preserve life.
You may think that you're right, but the truth is you have all defiled your beliefs by giving in to tribalism and the law of the jungle.
We all have the capacity for evil, but we also all have the capacity for good.
I wish everyone who is trying to justify this war would just stop and think about what they're really doing.

CNN interviewed Qusai Abu al-Kebash, a 29-year-old Palestinian shepherd, who was sexually assaulted by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank village of Khirbet Humsa.
He told @JDiamond1 that settlers zip-tied his genitals, paraded him through the village while beating him, threatened to rape women, assaulted children, and stole hundreds of his sheep.
CNN International@cnni
Israeli settlers have increasingly used violence against Palestinians in a bid to drive them from their homes in the occupied West Bank. But sexual assault appears to be a new weapon in these settlers’ arsenal of intimidation, pointing to a troubling new level of violence. cnn.it/4du8vj6

Will the populist Right please make up its mind? One minute pledging "no news wars" and attacking activists who try to "import foreign conflicts" to the West. The next cheering a massive new military assault in the Middle East, launched in a way that makes even Bush and Blair look restrained. What is going on in their heads?

✝️68 AD. Hidden in the mountains of #Iran 🇮🇷. One of the oldest surviving 🇦🇲✝️ #Christian churches on Earth-built on the martyrdom site of an apostle. The #Armenian Monastery of Saint Thaddeus was founded in 68 AD according to sacred tradition on the very spot where Saint Thaddeus, one of the twelve apostles, was martyred and buried
This makes it an apostolic-era sanctuary where Armenians have prayed since the 1st century, long before Armenia became the first Christian nation in 301 AD.
Its walls have witnessed empires rise and fall. They all came and went, but the Armenian prayer never stopped.
The current structure is a mosaic of centuries. The oldest surviving parts, around the altar apse, date from the 7th century, with some traditions linking earlier origins to the 4th century or the apostolic era.
After an earthquake destroyed much of it in 1319, the monastery was extensively rebuilt in the 1320s under Bishop Zachariah. Further repairs occurred over the centuries, including in the 17th century.
In the early 19th century, under the patronage of Father Superior Simeon, a large western extension (a narthex-like structure) was added, deliberately echoing the design of Etchmiadzin Cathedral, the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
In 2008, UNESCO inscribed the Monastery of Saint Thaddeus (together with the Monastery of Saint Stepanos and the Chapel of Dzordzor, all in Iran's northwestern provinces) on its World Heritage List as the "Armenian Monastic Ensembles of Iran." This recognition highlights their outstanding universal value in Armenian architectural and decorative traditions, cultural diffusion, and pilgrimage heritage.
Every year, thousands of pilgrims-Armenians and others-still journey to this remote mountain valley to kneel where an apostle is believed to have fallen. The annual three-day pilgrimage in July venerates Saint Thaddeus and Saint Sandukht (a royal convert martyred with him).

@tonypearce1974 @danwootton @TiceRichard I like Nadhim, he’s a personal friend, and he has a lot to offer Reform. We need super successful, well connected, business savvy, government experienced recruits. He is all of these. I hate the vaccines but that was a unique set of circumstances.

Isabel is no longer a journalist.
Weird and sad to see.
Go and join the Reform UK PR department. They need all the help they can get.
But don't go on Talk TV pretending to be an independent political commentator.
It's offensive.

I really don't care what @nadhimzahawi said about @Nigel_Farage more than a decade ago. Seriously? A year is a long time in politics. 2015 was another world.

NUMBER ONE ON AMAZON !! 🚀🚀🚀🎯🎯🎯
For Christmas 2025!!!
Spectacular News !!!
SOVEREIGNTY - JOHN MAPPIN - THE RESTORATION OF SANITY the new Best Seller by Mike Fairclough @1MikeFairclough
Is now the CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE Best Seller for Political Biographies.
What an honour.
Our deepest and heartfelt thanks to the great visionary Milo Yiannopoulos @Nero for his help, intellect and inspiration and without whom this book quite simply would never have happened nor would it have ever come into being.
We can't thank Charlie Kirk @charliekirk11 and Candace @RealCandaceO enough for the journey of Freedom Creation that we embarked on and are all still on.
Our is a true, over the ramparts, swashbuckling adventure.
It is most certainly divinely inspired and touched by the hand of providence.
Many of you have written to us asking exactly what the relationship between Irina and I and Charlie Kirk Candace and their wider orbit is.
This book expands on what is already known by millions and is now indeed of great historical interest and significance.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed helping Mike the author with his research into the stories and backstories that have come together so well in this book.
Sanity, like insanity can be infectious, both can have a viral quality.
Our wish for you all this Christmas and New Year is that each of us does our part to spread sanity in this world and to expose the evil and insanity with which we are all confronted daily and that is apparent to us all now.
Do share these insights with those that you love.
Enjoy.
All our Love to You All this Christmas,
Our Warmest Wishes to you.
John and Irina Mappin

Here’s a post that many of you will relate to right now. For many years I’ve managed to have a pretty good standard of living through career progression and then being self employed. I’ve always worked hard and have enjoyed a few decent holidays, nights out, got on the property ladder in my twenties and largely always found a way to be reasonably comfortable financially.
But recently, things have changed.
Despite the fact that my annual income is significantly higher than it was in my twenties, I feel significantly poorer than in my twenties. And that’s because the cost of living is completely out of control. And the cost of living is out of control on the basic essentials of energy and food prices. This is combined with a horrendous tax burden - now at record levels.
If we were paying all of this tax and getting a return on investment then at least there’s a social contract of trust between the taxpayer and government. But there’s not. Instead we are paying record amounts of overall taxation and the country is rotting. Nothing works. Public services have diminished and infrastructures are rotting. The decay is everywhere.
I am not alone in saying this. Everyone I speak to is saying the same thing. We are all working our arses off just to keep our heads above water while paying governments extortionate amounts of money for them to make our lives worse.
And for all of this, I blame successive Tory and Labour governments. They have let the country rot. And they’ve sold our assets to multinational corporations. And they’ve made some terrible policy decisions that have cost the taxpayer a fortune. They’ve spaffed away our hard earned tax money on wars, corporate contracts, numerous crisis situations that they created and have feathered their own nests with power and money in the process. They’ve brought Britain to its knees by wilful incompetence and managed decline for corporate greed and we are all paying the price.
At some point we must stop focusing on who needs to pay more tax and instead focus on where all of our tax money is going.
The mood across Britain is unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed before. But it’s not the fault of the people. It’s the fault of government. And don’t ever let these bastards tell you otherwise.
