Arne Slot deserves prison time.

Arne Slot spent the whole season complaining that teams don't want to play football and waiting for set pieces and throw-ins. Until he faces a team that wants to play football, and become everything he complained about.

I think this one image sums up the disconnect between the fans and the players at the moment. What a difference a year makes in that regard. They’re all millionaires and just seem totally disconnected from reality these days. The away fans especially, invest so much time and money into following the club. They’ll stay until the end and give as much support as they can - but if they see a manager and team who look like they can’t be arsed then you’ll lose their support. Liverpool fans don’t typically make banners and chant for their own manager being sacked, but leaving early and chanting for another manager is as close as you’re going to get. The tongue in cheek “Hodgson for England” chant was similar to what happened at the Etihad with the Alonso chant. The manager has slowly lost the fans, we all hoped he would turn it around but there is just no sign of it happening, surely the owners see that? I just don’t understand what Szoboszlai was trying to achieve too. He could see there was hardly any left, the ones that are left, are simply not going to applaud that capitulation. Time for change, before the rot truly sets in and we go back to winning the odd cup.

You don't give your shirt away, during a tie in which you have been demolished, while the game is still being played. The separation from what some players think is ok and what fans know to be insulting is becoming stratospheric.

When have you seen our loyal fans leave an away end early? When have you heard boos at Anfield after performances? The club is not listening to the fans. They have every right to not be happy at all, spending their hard earned money week-in week-out to watch the same lack of effort and tactical naivety.

The reaction to that defeat is going to be doing a few rondos in training, shooting at a basketball net and having about 5 cappuccinos at the AXA coffee bar.
