1/5 Launched a repair division at Palmetto Automation from zero → ~15% of total company revenue in 1 year. Same execution mindset I bring to @Matty_app and @PickifyAI. SC operator. AI-native builder. Revenue obsessed. Thread 👇

Sometimes just getting outside and doing some back breaking work is good for the soul. Built a fire pit at the house today. Nothing fancy… just sweat, dirt, and a project you can stand back and look at when it’s done. Now it’s time for a good bourbon and a cigar.

Yes, there’s still execution work ahead, but the hard part is already done. Matty.ai is already incorporated, SEC registered and compliant, partnered, patent-backed, and operational at the core level. We also already have demos and enterprise-level partnership discussions underway with major financial institutions. What’s left is integrations, onboarding partners, and expanding distribution.

Because listing industrial electronic items on eBay through eBays app takes to long especially when all the details of the items matter and typing them allows for too much human error. I built a Ebay listing agent that allows you to just take multiple pictures of the item especially the name plate, then it drafts the Ebay listing while you are off taking the next set of photos. Not to mention it sets a price based off of eBay sales as well as historical data and google data. At the end of the day you have a big list of drafts to review to ensure accuracy and then you do a bulk listing push to Ebay live. I've reduced the time to list one item from 8 minutes down to less than 1 minute.

Hey @claudeai….. Just a thought! Every time Claude hits me with: “Service temporarily unavailable.” @AnthropicAI should automatically issue bonus token credits like airline miles after a delayed flight.

Why does @claudeai constantly have messages on both the desktop app and the browser- “this isn't working right now. You can try again later.”

Yesterday took the whole day off and drove up the Bourbon Trail into Kentucky with the family. Got stuck for 2 hours going 16 miles in Hot Springs on I-40. Helene really tore that area up. Woke up this morning at Shaker Village. Quiet, beautiful, history everywhere. Nothing fancy, just good to be off the computer and actually present with the wife and kid for a change. Sometimes you need those unplanned detours. Grateful.

AI isn’t replacing hustlers. It’s turning hustlers into monsters.

Most people think AI is magic. My version of AI is walking into situations I’ve never dealt with before… studying manuals, documentation, schematics, codebases, business models, and talking to people who understand the problem firsthand. Then feeding all of that into AI to learn, adapt, and solve problems in hours that normally take days or weeks. The future belongs to people who know how to combine human intuition with AI leverage.

@VScientia369 The stack is easy. Making it actually move the needle on the floor is the hard (and valuable) part.

@jonbryson93 Strong build. Most people would share the stack… but the real value here is the operational gain. That’s what actually converts into clients.

I just built something pretty cool inside our ops platform at Palmetto Automation. An AI powered eBay listing tool from scratch that runs right in our internal system. Here’s how it works. 🧵

Up early this morning working on @pickifyai, going over a term sheet, talking to the investor side, and laying out what the next 24-48 months could look like with some real goals. Then I hit the road and spent the rest of the day at four different customers dropping off their repaired electrical automation equipment. Stuff that actually runs on their lines every day. Man, those plant visits are always one of the highlights of the job. Gets your head out of the code and AI screens, puts you back in the real world. You see how things actually operate, talk to the guys on the floor, and come back to the drawing board with way better ideas than if you’d just stayed in the shop all day at a computer. Keeps everything grounded. Grateful for days like this.

One example that worked for us at Palmetto Automation. Our old CRM was already collecting customer and purchase data but it was basic at best. I rebuilt it from scratch with AI so it now understands what equipment people are buying. If it matches what we repair used and obsolete industrial automation parts the system auto generates a personalized email. It thanks them for the purchase and offers our repair services on similar items. No more broad blasts. Just targeted outreach based on what they actually bought. That was a big part of how the repair division went from 0 to about 15% of company revenue in a year (April 25- April 26). Small consistent improvements adding up.

I put it together with Lovable, Supabase, Claude Vision from Anthropic, and the eBay API. No extra SaaS tools or monthly fees. Just our own system that does exactly what we need. If you’re in industrial parts or reselling and dealing with the same headache, hit me up in the DMs. Happy to talk about it.

Now it cuts the time way down, probably around 80 percent. A worker can photograph 50 parts in an hour instead of spending 20 minutes on one. Drafts are ready for review the next morning. Faster listings mean we move inventory quicker and bring in more revenue.
