@algekalipso have you read this book yet? TL;DR meta-cognition about pain can reduce pain. reading this book, you can't help but think about how you think about pain => your chronic pain in that moment gets attenuated => you notice thoughts can attenuate pain => virtuous cycle of less pain

@martinmbauer makes sense! question: if 3+1D space we're embedded in a high-D manifold (e.g., 10+2) but strictly constrained to that 3+1D surface on that manifold (cause reasons?) then would we still get heavy particles decaying into lighter ones?
