@PaulAnleitner @KyleMcnease This was my experience as well. The context of the world during the time he was writing THS (published 1945) probably colored the storyline. He also revisits this theme somewhat in The Last Battle (which is also a tougher read for me) but approaches it more broadly.
English

@KyleMcnease I think Perelandra is the best too. That Hideous Strength has some really cool concepts (such as “macrobes” ) but I think my experiences in dispensationalist contexts where everyone was looking for the global, antichrist conspiracy all the time soured me to THS a bit.
English

@PaulAnleitner I feel that Perelandra was some of his best writing in this series. Particularly the chapters where Ransom is considering fighting the Un-man and the fight. A lot of beautiful theology at the end as well.

@AdamForBaseball By the way, I’m probably the guy you want on your league because I’m definitely the distracted but stepping on his kid’s legos 😂
English

@AdamForBaseball fyi, can’t slide into your dms 😉

@KadenceWP Follow up question: is there a way to create “templates” for pages within the Kadence theme? Or just through creating template files?
English

@KadenceWP Are there plans to support using WP’s new template editor with the Kadence Theme? I tried it, but the header and footer disappear (which is expected if there isn’t support).

I'm all for slim/fitted looks but you really can go too skinny. Need to be mindful of this, especially when you're more muscular.

When COVID originally shut everything down, my wife & I realized there were some experiences of life that we took for granted & that if we came out of this thing alive we were going to do those things while we can.
So tonight we're going to a bucket list concert.

@sethhahne @TheAlanNoble Is this from a book? Or is this @sethhahne giving parenting advice to @TheAlanNoble — either way, I say it’s brilliant!
English

"Listen son. You may not believe in cuss words, but cuss words believe in you. So I want you to remember that when you're at a low point, feeling the world just grind down on you like it will. If cuss words believe in you then you can believe in you and then you'll be alright."

My son was flipping off his little sister, who snitched on him. And his explanation was, “I don’t believe in cuss words so it doesn’t mean anything” and I was not ready for that semantic debate.

@scottjehl Came back to say that almost a day doesn’t go by where I don’t think about this tweet.
English

@shannoncason Ha! This helped me remember to get our trash out just in time too. Thanks!

@neubibleco @iamkory @dwellbible @iamaaronmartin I truly appreciate the thought and effort that went into this app. Thank you for everything. Hoping that the same attention to detail and minimalistic approach continues with new ownership.
English

@iamkory @dwellbible NeuBible and all its public comms will be run by the @dwellbible team but if anyone ever needs anything, I'll be around. God bless you all, @iamaaronmartin out. 12/12
English

Small tweet storm from me, @iamaaronmartin. I'm super excited to announce that @dwellbible will taking ownership of NeuBible.
