@SebAaltonen @FreyaHolmer I don’t see why second Dispatch is needed. It’s still one Dispatch but Max TGs iterates 64 times on a large workload and once on a smaller workload. This Dispatch can even run smaller TGs. But they need to saturate GPU first before iterating. Otherwise GPU width isn’t utilised.

let's say I have at most 65,536 floats in a buffer on the GPU, and I want to find the smallest value do I dispatch ceil(log2(n))) reduction compute shaders or what's the strat for this?
