Who would have thought that regional Indi would become a focus of national attention? Delighted to have been a part of that story. Also Anglican Australia.

@RevDaniel He’s after the Spanish speaking voters with Guadalupe!

@simonsarmiento They also are in ‘impaired communion’ with a number of dioceses within the Anglican Church of Australia. The House of Bishops is not able to gather as a whole for Holy Communion.
The C of E speaks of schism. The same agents have been at it for years in Australia. All about power.

@AlboMP Is there conclusive evidence - for example post mortems - that might confirm the date and cause of death? Rafah has seen recent bombing and military action. Were these poor individuals murdered by Hamas? Or like so many Palestinians civilian casualties of this terrible war?

@Praxeas I would prefer the self-descriptor ‘person of faith’.
Does that work?
Not a potential pejorative, not so broad.

This is the most eloquent argument against Christofascism (Christian nationalism) I've ever heard. This impressive young man's name is James Talarico and he represents the state of Texas. He is the future of the Democratic Party. #Christofascism #ChristianNationalism

@_stuckings @AustAnglican Ah, but we incorporate it all. The whole magnificent and diverse tradition.

I am spending much of today listening to the music of J S Bach, and it is indeed refreshing. Excellent way to cleanse the mind. 🎶

"The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul." J.S. Bach, the greatest of them all, who died this day in 1750.

@PeterWMurphy1 No. Because unlike Edward Charles has his own children. They take precedence over a brother. If he had abdicated, William would be next in line.
English

Edward abdicated to marry divorcee Wallis Simpson. And so his brother Albert, Duke of York, became King George VI.
If Charles had renounced his claim on the throne to marry divorcee Camilla, would Prince Andrew, Duke of York, now be our king? 🤔 😏 #monarchy #RepublicNow

@lesstenny The hospital or even GP should be in a position to make a referral to whichever local body is responsible for sending out the ACAT assessors to the person’s home. It should be able to be expedited if the matter is urgent.
But a referral is necessary. Good luck. Very complex .

@AustAnglican I like your ‘Anglican adjacent’.
Quite broadly useful descriptor.
