I did read the article.
No where in the article does it state a simple democratic function being removed from the people.
There are buzz words alluding to losing democracy, but not any actual measurable details as to which function of democracy is being lost.
Please, help a lazy illiterate person like myself find this obvious loss in democratic function so clearly printed in this reputable news source.
