@jonodeee Doleman was worse. Didn't know Aussies were so emotional. Reminds me of us Chiefs when we were robbed in the 23 final though 🤔 except we deserved to win that game. The Reds whilst being absolute warriors and really impressing me, did enough wrong to justify the loss.

Possibly the worst reffing performance all season. Really undermined what was a great level of rugby from both teams. #REDvCHI

@brumby_fan I think it was the culmination of all the things we've seen this season from the Force. When they're firing and not making mistakes, they can be very competitive. Reds looked tired and were outplayed across the field.

@brumby_fan I dont disagree, but i do wonder how much of that is Lonergan too enabling DM. I actually havent minded Tane off the bench this season except that missed tackle. Im seeing some of Bernie's touches in there. Imo i dont think this was the right game to drop him into at 10.

@jonodeee Also really noticeable how much better the Brumbies looked when DM came on. I’m not completely down on TE. He needs time. I just want a little more from him. It’s his 5 year

That was a really poor performance from The Brumbies. Goal kicking a massive problem. No territory management. Tane completely missed his chance.

@BaronDestructo Jerry Goldsmith is one of the goats. The instrumentation, pacing, thematic writing is incredible - perfectly depicts the beauty/wonderment of exploration and the final frontier. The visuals are also perfect - the ship + celestial bodies all have weight/presence/beauty.

I was asked to list my favorite sci-fi t.v. themes. Star Trek: Voyager is definitely in my Top 3!

@HuwTindall I would imagine a range of factors. But what i really like about it is now the Force have a bit of an x-factor twist to their games. Even if he doesnt play well, the eyeballs his inclusion will have, in a similar way to JAS, can only be good for SR and the Force.

Wonder why the Force got it over Brums? few extra Twiggy bucks in there? More chance of game time? By all accounts the offers from Force and Brums were similar.

@MarioVerbelen Question from a designer - it sounds like doing the actual coding is something you value. How often are you coming up with new code for solutions vs using existing code and adapting it for a solution? What aspect of the 'hands on' is it that you enjoy that most that AI replaces?

This is one of my reasons why I stay a manual dev. AI is nice and good for many things, but I don't let it do my passion. But when I see co-workers using it on our codebase, I feel like I'm reviewing LLM's for them and my whole mind explodes when I read the clutter that doesn't make any sense. This mindset of just let AI generate something and the senior will review it. I just can't approve and put my stamp on it. I just can't. For now it's very limited but it's starting to become the new reality and it's spreading fast. So I start to feel useless as well, I still have hope for the next year but then ... I don't know. Back to the farm?
