@willbondspeare What’s really annoying me is people defending them going “oh well they aren’t staff, they’re just volunteers” as that is in any way an excuse, you give them a steward lanyard then they represent the convention regardless of whether they’re paid or not

@jonrees87 I’ve heard a lot about the rude volunteers/staff.. genuinely appalled by them. rude staff can really make or break a con.

the more I hear about Flux, the more I’m so thankful I didn’t go. that con sounds like an non inclusive, discriminative shit show

Gotta say as an additional to yesterday, I think one of the worst things to have come out of Starfury Flux is discovering the abrasive, condescending and blunt way that some of the long-time regulars speak to people online and in-person at the slightest edge of critique.
