just wasted 48 hours fighting @convex the same error, again and again 😭 here's what happened was happily building, migrating a larger project, and even building new ones to really understand it suddenly, a random TS2589 error appears (Excessive Deep Type Instantiation). weird but I can fix this AI fixes the error but creates 3 more. repo is now a haunted house of nested errors that are impossible to fix try every solution from their discord, docs, and github pages. nothing works long-term. it's all hacky bandaids I've now realized the fundamental problem - when you put EVERYTHING in your code for type safety, AI eventually generates code so complex that it can't fix itself anymore the goal was to make convex easy enough to teach vibe coders but I can't find a scalable solution that doesn't fall apart convex itself is dope but this one issue might be a dealbreaker
