🟢 Today I start #buildinginpublic my new venture, EMT Schools. EMT Schools will be the first directory/review site for all EMT schools in the US. In the coming days and weeks I'll introduce myself, discuss strategy, outline the business design, and share my progress.

Seeing many youngsters going down the illegal route to make a lot of money fast. They see no value in hard work and would risk jail to get ahead quick and appear to have made it young. It’s really a sad situation.

@OneMaxBaker Why would that be unethical? What does it have to do with ethics at all?

Im curious: Is it unethical to Unfollow accounts that you felt genuinely interested in but later realized don't resonate with you?

So my little startup finally has a name, tenderpanel.com (no kidney was sold in obtaining that domain). Finally gotten around to making a landing page for it. Still a lot of UI/UX improvement work in front of me. Sidenote: Could anyone recommend me a good screen recorder for Windows?

@jackson_llk @gjsequeira He also was quoted saying: “When I am working on a book or a story I write every morning as soon after first light as possible.” I find my best hours are the first 2-3 after waking up, but I prefer to workout then, which does impacts my work but sets me up for success otherwise

@jackson_llk @gjsequeira Ernest Hemingway put it best: “I always worked until I had something done and I always stopped when I knew what was going to happen next.”

Anyone else building while having a fulltime job or business? I am finding it challenging to allocate out a meaningful amount of time daily to build. 1-2 hours just doesn't cut it, I need more to get in the zone and the momentum going.

@jackson_llk You’ve got to cut something else out unfortunately. Friends, fitness, or sleep are usually the first on the chopping block. I recommend attacking it through extended sprints of focused work. 1-2 months of monastic living, but then allow yourself to relax for a month.

@nextjs @PostgreSQL @vercel I have basic proficiency of HTML/CSS and I have limited understanding of JS - so building a complete, full-stack app from scratch will be challenging This is where being overly self-confident and slightly delusional as a founder is essential.

To get ship this MVP, I will need to: -Develop the frontend (@nextjs) -Populate the database (@PostgreSQL) -Deploy the site (@vercel)

Today, I drafted the first MVP wireframe of EMT Schools. It is ugly and ultra-minimalist, but even in this state the product would provide significant value to users. #buildinpublic
