@stephsmithio Personally I've done my best to move toward this I've found it requires similar amounts of time for me to prepare and make the meeting productive, but that does save the cost of having to figure it out among 3+ people for 30-60 minutes

So here are the revolutionary insights you're getting for $6k: To double your revenue simply 2x the number of customers. And here's the big hack: make sure you don't spend more on customer acquisition. CAC cut in half. Revenue doubled. That simple.

@stephsmithio Seems like a lot of folks are trying to figure out the best “test” of health. I think what you have is good, here’s another new competition that adds a bit more “athlete” focused metrics

I'm organizing a fun little health-focused event, where people can test a handful of metrics like grip strength, 100m dash, plank hold, standing long jump, etc – all benchmarked to their age/gender. Healthy food/bev tasting to follow😊 What key fitness tests am I missing?

Sometimes business isn't hard. It's 'just' doing what is self evidently true to outsiders that you don't want to admit to yourself. (That 'just' is doing a lot of work). And if you don't listen, all you lose are years.

Yesterday, we hosted a crowd of 300 to make three big announcements. The audience included investors, customers, suppliers, government, press, family, and friends. We unveiled: 1️⃣ The Aalo Pod, our 50 MWe nuclear power plant, purpose built for AI data centers. 2️⃣ The first full-scale prototype of Aalo-1, which we’ll be doing non-nuclear testing on in the coming months. 3️⃣ The Aalo Factory, which now is capable of building more prototype Aalo Pods, and soon, the real thing. We still have a long road ahead of us before we achieve criticality, but these are major steps in the right direction. We’re proud that this was all accomplished in the past 6 months, since we moved into our new Austin HQ (which was initially an empty 40,000 sqft shell). We’ll be posting more photos and videos from the event soon, stay tuned! In the meantime, here’s our blog post announcing the launch of the Aalo Pod: aalo.com/post/announcin…

@thatroblennon I agree but also see the other side from a data security and work quality perspective. That and there is likely a lack of trust that the employees will be able to use it effectively or have the proper, clean data to give to make quality work products.

One thing on #5 people miss - "you need to get it right before stepping on the gas" part of planning and iterating is doing enough to know what is "right" or what can be "almost right" for your purpose lots of project management tends to get that confused in terms of methodologies

Sam, I built one of these too. Get even better if you add supplemental material. example: if you run on EOS, add traction, if you need help with strategy, add your favorite strategy articles. We ended up looking for the "best, top 5" articles on over 100 business topics, and then added it to our convos, meeting notes, etc.... It really leveled up the advice along how we like to operate. Adder: You can add in roles/personalities, and tune the output to be more specific to the asker.

Been obsessed with making ChatGPT a business consultant for me. So I uploaded my p+l, website, deck, notion files, and more stuff to chat got and ask ai it’s opinion on different issues I have on my business. It’s honestly amazing. Life changing. But sometimes it’s clunky. Like it forgets some important stuff. I asked my buddy Grant to make it better. So he made a small project for me. An easy way to upload all my business files, and make sure it doesn’t forget, and ask it questions daily that I’m struggling with. I’m trying to convince him to make this a product. Anyone wanna use it?

Multi-million dollar projects are often led by client executives who have spent entire careers optimizing for one thing: not getting fired. These are people who live by PowerPoint and worship risk matrices, they would rather add another steering committee than make a real decision. You walk into a meeting with a big idea, and suddenly you are met with blank stares and a request to "socialize the concept with stakeholders" (which, in corporate-speak, means kill it through slow suffocation). So, what do you do? You package your wild ideas in a milder context: just enough to slip past the risk-averse antibodies. For example, if you want to suggest an aggressive digital transformation, do not call it "aggressive" but a "measured transition leveraging best practices". If you want to propose an entirely new business model, frame it as an "optimization of existing synergies.". The best consultants understand that corporate decision-making is like sneaking veggies into my daughter's meal: sometimes, you need to blend the kale into the smoothie.

My brain sucks. Within approximately 20 seconds of having an idea, it disappears into the ether. Today, I used AI to make it 10x more powerful. Over the years, I've had to cobble together a productivity system. For years, I've used David Allen's Getting Things Done framework. The key idea is: DO NOT TRUST YOUR BRAIN. Every idea/thought/task gets captured into an "Inbox" for later processing: adding a context (where you need to be to do the task - computer/home/etc) as well as a project (if the task is multi-step). It's an incredible system, but it requires extreme discipline. Which is something I do not have. As a result, my inbox is usually a garbled mess of 250 Siri reminders. Once a month, I break down and go through them all and try to turn them into something resembling projects, but my system is often messy and moves in fits and starts. This has been the bane of my existence for years, and I've never had luck delegating it to an assistant. Over the last week, I've been using AI to finally conquer my GTD system so I can focus on DOING not ORGANIZING. Here's what it does: 1. New task gets added to Todoist 2. Task title sent to @OpenAI 3. OpenAI de-garbles the task title and makes it clear and actionable: "email chris about SHA and comp plan" becomes "Email Chris about shareholders agreement and compensation plan" 4. It also adds an appropriate context label ("Email"), adds it to a the right project, and estimates the amount of time it will require (priority number). 5. Automatically places the tasks on my calendar based on priority using Reclaim. It's insane how many hours of manual labour this has saved me already 🤯 Tools: @make_hq @todoist @reclaimai

What are the best AI powered workflows for note taking, todo lists, and documents? I'm scattered across Apple Notes, Google Docs, & Notion. Whatever I consolidate to needs to be quick to add ideas, great at finding follow ups & todos, & have access to docs for context.
