Not gonna lie from driving a real racecar to driving that the graphics are good but the car does not act the same at all. It’s damn good for a video game but not comparable. Look at the rundown from last night. Not realistic.

I’ve never seen them go home download iracing have a get together and sit down and watch. Most people have it are racing not watching.

But to act like it’s way better than real racing and sponsors get more exposure. Absolutely not. When’s the last time they took an “iracing” car to a sponsor event.

@LukeGriffith11 @rooroo12 @KevinMingus @jordan_ryan5 @racingcoach51 gotta keep things in perspective. you already have a car. so yes, it's "easier" for you to find the funding to race what you have. if you're starting from scratch, meaning nothing, you're never going to fund a race team off sponsorship dollars.

And I guarantee you get way more people at Attica say for an All Star show then you do watching iracing. And I even play it occasionally.

@LukeGriffith11 @rooroo12 @KevinMingus @jordan_ryan5 @racingcoach51 I’m also going to be honest and tell you that sponsors get way more exposure in 1 race from the iRacing community than they do at the actual tracks for a whole season. Social media engagement from iRacing is huge and companies see it pay off.

@LukeGriffith11 @racingcoach51 It is fun I like it. But I don’t try to act like it’s real like some of these guys. They take it way to serious. Until they see what actually goes in to prepping a real racecar then they can compare.

@racingcoach51 I get it’s a much cheaper alternative than actually owning a racecar, but it’s still a video game......the part that chaps my ass is that it pays more to win most races on iRacing than it does to win a local 305 race 🙃 #jokesonme
