@DaneMooreNBA There’s still plenty of room for him to grow. But even if he gets squeezed out of the rotation against certain teams in the playoffs, there’s still a lot of value in having an “innings eating” big. Should help the win total and keep KAT & Rudy fresh for the playoffs.

The whole team stinks at rebounding -- bottom 5 in D rebs both of the last two years. Not a strength of Naz's, but has pretty clearly improved at it year-over-year. Would also think playing at the 4, always next to KAT/Rudy, that his rebounding will be better relative to position

We're certain Naz will *never* be able to play D in the playoffs?
Obviously not his calling card. But he's shown schematic diversity -- played drop for years + I think he looks more comfortable playing up than KAT/Rudy -- plus we saw him move well guarding the perimeter as a 4.

@DaneMooreNBA (3) I love & respect Naz, going from UDFA to top backup center in the league, & top 10 offensive center. But his rebounding & D ensure he will never play deep into the playoffs, however useful he is in reg season.

@Nerd4Cities I think also people worried about “dangerous cities/zip codes” hyper focus on property crime and gun violence, but ignore things like vehicular manslaughter which is disproportionately more important to how urbanists view safety

Today’s video is what got me thinking on this because EVERY time I do an “affordable urbanism”-type video I get lots of “well it’s cheap because it’s SO DANGEROUS” comments. I’ve lived in a lot of “dangerous” zip codes, though, and…I keep my own counsel
