Homelander's speed inconsistency in the Season 5 finale was one of the most annoying talking points for me too. Early on we see him casually yeeting to space and back in seconds, speed-blitzing people, yet in the final fight he's getting held down and can't just fly out or end it quick? It felt like they nerfed him hard for the plot. Kinda took me out of the moment. The ending was still brutal, but damn the powerscaling was all over the place.

No offense, but why??? Why spend trillions of dollars in recolonization when that money can be better spent to make earth more sustainable? Looking at these two pics, one of Earth and one of Mars, and I don't know anyone who would pick Mars. Also, earth sustains life. Mars does not. We'd have to force it to sustain life, which would mean all life and all sustainability is against nature. Nothing can survive on Mars without an insane amount of oversight and rigid rules. Everything there would have to be brought in. Mars does not produce anything, which is why Mars has nothing. Not even a blade of grass or form of life.
