My husband on morphine has found a resting position where he doesn't hurt and plans to never move again.

Nothing more fun than an early trip to the ER with the hubs! Looks like he's got a kidney stone. All that pain and we don't even get a baby after. Thank the stars for my parents, who were able to rush over and get the kids to school this am.

@AndreaMusacchi1 @ProteinMagnus My two cents: We showed (in vitro...) clusters/condensates can exist at bulk concentrations below Csat. We also showed a potential functional consequence of condensation below Cast. Whether this actually happens in cells remains unclear. Obviously... this phenomenon is NOT LLPS

A common criticism of phase separation as biological mechanism is the high concentrations needed for many model systems. This is misinterpreted as a physical necessity of PS. I think it is more likely to represent a publication-bias towards convenient model systems.

bio-twitter help! are there examples in central dogma where a polymerase will give up or trigger a discard pathway if monomers aren't inserting at some minimal rate? I feel like I have heard about this in the past but I can't come up with the details. help!!
