While I understand that salaries are often tied to location. But when it comes to services, value should be the standard, why is offer is to be where the price is set not geography. Why should I earn less just because “I live in Nigeria”?

Earlier this year, I got on a call with a UK fintech client for a website revamp. Quoted $1,500. He said no one will pay a Nigerian $1k for a landing page. So I shared my screen, opened my Contra. Showed him invoices. Silence. Then….“wow.”😂😂😂

I recently uploaded 19 of my skeumorphic icons on the Figma Community just incase you might need any at some point. All in editable vector formats and designed in @figma What the statement above simply means is that you can pick a blue icon from here and easily change it to green, red, pink or whatever fits your brand. You can also animate these in Rive or export for a Framer build or Vibecoding. The best part is, you can pick just a part of any of the icons. For example, the Ticket or sales labels are literally sub icons of their own. Each of the food item from the grocery bag can be used in isolation too. Link in thread👇👇

charge more, the worst that happens is someone says no, the best that happens is someone says yes and you realize you've been leaving money on the table for years. most designers have been undercharging for so long they've convinced themselves it's the market.

From now till the end of Decemer 2026, I will be getting gigs worth thousands of dollars, contract opportunities and International Recognition.
