@vii6es @Gravy_Pouch @TheTrueNemo @singtoconley this is 99.9% correct and I agree.
The sole exception to 2 is iPhone to HomePod. Ironic that it is superb, but all other transition options (including the reverse!) just plain don’t exist at all.
English

@Gravy_Pouch @TheTrueNemo @singtoconley i switched to apple music and its unironically better, the only downsides are 1. no seamless transition from device to device 2. cant control 1 device from another (e.g. cant switch song thats playing on mac from phone) and finding usermade playlists from others is much harder
English

@FistFullofPhil @Mollys_ADHD I was dxed bipolar for a decade, before I revisited and got dxed adhd, then autistic.
the productive times of adhd+autistic hyperfixation in my capitalism-friendly special interest was manic, then the crash when it was unsustainable and I got overwhelmed was depression.

@GroupClaritas @nakedpastor Stop lying. You are bearing false witness by claiming he says love is an arbitrary emotion.
English

@Shaded121 @WilliamsNietzs3 @nakedpastor How does it feel to know you are directly the subject of this cartoon?
English

@WilliamsNietzs3 @nakedpastor I think the problem is more like many not liking what the Bible condemns and using the Love clause to excuse the inexcusable.
English

@boddly_bing @Odyne_LaFee @adhdjesse Attention “deficit” is relative to what we are “supposed” to be paying attention to, when others are deciding that for us.
Hyperactivity is body and (or in “inattentive”; only) the mind in motion when it’s not “supposed” to be. Again, with others deciding
English

@Odyne_LaFee @adhdjesse (genuine question) if you don’t have attention deficit or hyperactivity how is that ADHD?
English

@Ms_Deathwish @BauceSauce are there kids these days who *aren’t* Very Online?
English

@BauceSauce I'm 39 and my kid is 12 and very online....I love annoying him so much 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@pot8um @SewcialWarrior I put people off when I get excited about something… because *that’s* when I go monotone. Had this pointed out to me a few years ago, and it tracks… I let my guard down when I’m excited and forget to mask. Look at all this amazing info… oh you need ME to *sound* excited?
English

@SewcialWarrior The first time he’d dismissed me by mentioning my lack of a monotone voice, I did cry. To him, and after the appointment. I was distraught for days. Aren’t medical professionals supposed to… idk… help?

@motherfucker753 @PopBase Haha, I can imagine… it was so freaking loud. Now I have to go see Barbie while they are still playing at the same time so I can experience it.
English

@PopBase The explosion could be felt during barber screenings 😭 😭 😭

@PinnacleJoe @TheEcho13 @igarglewithfire So, would you be okay with your wife not wanting sex and doing it anyway? Like just existing there while you pump away. I mean, that's kinda gross, no?
English

rant. and decided I’m going to just use lower-case “god” for these contexts, because these dudes definitely make god in their own image
Josh Malt@josh_malted
@DavidLeonGill @PinnacleJoe @thepursuinglife Yeah it’s gross. From an ex-fundie, the church absolutely gaslit domestic violence with saying the wife should submit more. This dude’s so-called “god” is evil.
English

@IreneUnfiltered @pot8um @LeadingReport just not dairy farming, and don’t marry a gal from the city
otherwise yeah
English

@josh_malted @pot8um @LeadingReport I think my family would have been happier had they stuck with farming
English

@DavidLeonGill @PinnacleJoe @thepursuinglife And one of the reasons I got out was because of this authoritarian thinking where you can force someone else to do something because you can cherry-pick a verse to make it “god’s will.”
English

@DavidLeonGill @PinnacleJoe @thepursuinglife The context of the verse from “it’s a literal command” was around the celibacy cults of that time where you to be more “holy” you had to abstain from sex (sound familiar?) even as a married person. Not great for relationships.
NOT “I don’t feel like it tonight.”
