If you've seen #themandalorianandgrogu without spoilers (I've seen it but just saying in case someone hasn't) what do you think about it?

@farmingandJesus I’d say it will be a process. First call the police, then separate. Meet with your pastor and see if counseling is possible. But if he is not safe to be with then I would invoke 1 Cor. 7, he has abandoned the faith and her with his violence.

@ChristandGuitar I have never heard a Catholic say “you’re not even a Christian.”
Ever.
English

Why is this guy so obsessed with the Catholic Church?
If you are a Baptist, good on you.
Same with Evangelicals. Bravo.
Catholics really don’t think about other denominations unless they attack us.
We are brothers and sisters in Christ.
This kind of behavior needs to stop.

Catholic Answers IS WRONG! @catholiccom The Roman Catholic transubstantiation Eucharist is idolatry and was never taught by Jesus and the apostles or the early church! Roman Catholicism is an apostate counterfeit Christianity that operates like a cult and incorporates the occult and Babylonian paganism!

@matthewdmarsden You probably don’t see it on your feed but the number of Catholic accounts being very pushy about catholic doctrine has increase 100x. My feed is filled with combative Catholic evangelists. So many Protestants have felt the need to respond.

@whpub @HwsEleutheroi I’d love to see details and explanation of each of your statements

In Roman Catholicism, you can use your fallible private interpretation to argue for why an ecumenical council was not ecumenical, why a formal excommunication was not valid, why an official canonization was not legitimate, why a papal statement was not really ex cathedra, why an unpublished papal decree can supersede a published papal statement or council, why a regional provincial council counts as ecumenical, why an apparition of Mary can add to the deposit of faith and help us understand apostolic tradition, why an infallible statement can be immoral but still infallibly true, why an ancient tradition is invalid while a late breaking tradition is apostolic, and why losing track of an oral apostolic tradition is proof of apostolicity.
All while claiming to submit unreservedly to the magisterium.🤣😂

@DVerit38142 In my book Infiltration I give the argument for how and why the excommunication was not valid.

Go to church and read your Bible!

Skip reading and go to Church.

@dan_de_cath Yes, original sin is a doctrine of the church and does not work without a real Adam and Eve

@hdpayens I love the didache and read it often. But it has nothing in it that compels one to become Roman Catholic.

@HonestYPTweets Consider transferring your ordination to another denomination. I’ve done it and it’s not very difficult

@JoshDaws I’m waiting till it comes out to judge, but if the rumors are true then it will just be more proof that wokeness ruins everything.

@KristanHawkins I don’t think she is just some random chick. Mary is quite possibly the most godly woman to have ever lived. She was the only one to whom the Lord entrusted his Son to. And she is a wonderful example of faith and obedience, but that is where we stop.
English

I feel bad for my non-Catholic Christian family and friends who think Mary was just some random chick.
She was chosen to be the new Ark.
She was chosen to literally house God in the flesh.
And the proof is clear that she is active in Heaven and here on earth, forever worshipping our Creator and praying for us.

@SethAbramson Have you been to DC recently? The reflection pool has become kinda gross. I was very surprised how bad a shape it was in when we visited. It needed this.

@FruitZss @CapturingChrist The Bible tells us.
1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons
English

@joshbing @CapturingChrist In reality it is Satan? Did Satan up and tell you this personally or are you speaking without evidence?

Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?
Here's the strongest argument that they do, and I almost never see anyone deal with it.
Christians and Muslims DISAGREE about God. Christians say God is triune. Muslims say He's not. That looks like a straightforward contradiction.
But here's the thing: disagreement is only possible if you're talking about the same subject.
If I say "Jones is tall" and you say "Jones is short," we're only disagreeing if we mean the same Jones. If we're talking about two different guys who happen to share a similar name or title, there's no actual disagreement at all. Just two unrelated claims.
So if Christians and Muslims DON'T worship the same God, then they don't actually disagree. They're just making separate claims about separate beings. But that's absurd, of course they disagree.
And it gets worse. Ancient Israelites before Christ weren't Trinitarians. But almost no Christian wants to say the Old Testament prophets worshipped a different God.
So now you need to explain: what metaphysical rupture happened between ancient Israel and 7th-century Arabia that broke the chain in one case but not the other? Good luck drawing that line without it looking completely arbitrary.
The real answer is that Christians and Muslims refer to the same being, the one creator God of Abraham, and disagree about His nature.
