You don't need to come from money. You just need to seize opportunity. When I was a kid I watched Dead Poets Society and found myself incredibly inspired by the Carpe Diem speech. Little did I know that moment sending chills down my spine was actually something I related to DEEP in my soul, I just hadn't discovered it yet. I began my entrepreneurship journey 34 years ago as little kid who was obsessed with pumpkins and the idea of growing them and selling them at the end of my driveway. I made $500 my very first season. I sold green apple & caramel suckers to raise money for my class in Middle School, learning that you could buy them for $.25 and sell them for $1. I paid myself back for my inventory expenses in the first 30 minutes of selling at lunch break, and bought my entire class pizza with the proceeds. Years later I was a 16-year-old signing a partnership with Marlboro for my tobacco crop which helped me land a full-ride scholarship to @murraystateuniv . I entered the marketplace and for a decade I learned from some of the brightest minds including the son of the founder of Dollar General (est. $2.6 billion net worth) and the team that raised $1 billion from advertising for President Obama's first campaign. Finally in 2013 I had reached the limits of my 9-to-5 and I stepped out on faith and launched a web design firm that eventually turned into a full-suite marketing agency that I still operate today. In 2025 I launched a brotherhood called Soulfire to help men activate their faith, lead their families and build their businesses, God's way. I've had days with only $53 in the bank account and a $1200 medical bill in the hand. And I've had days of enough surplus to be a blessing to others, giving away more than $1M of time & money along my journey. A little farm boy from KY that used to only dream of what it might be like to one day make $1M has seen that come through the revenue sheet multiple times over. But I've never forgotten my roots, never lost my gratitude, and will always invest in the ideas of those around me. My next goal is to give away the amount that I used to dream about: $1,000,000. In one year. That's what 2026 is going to be about for me and my family. Being so radically generous that people will think we're crazy. Normal is boring.

@briansooy Sadly I would agree here. Most that I’ve hired once I parted ways for financial reasons or end of contract, I’ve never heard from again and have never even been sent a lead despite investing thousands $$ into them and even helping consult growth for their business.

I used to think that the coaches and consultants that I hired actually cared about my business, my success, and me as a person. 30 years later, I'm here to report that most consultants don't care about anything beyond their reputation and paycheck. Don't be like that.

@jockowillink Should be immediate death penalty for the monster that did this, prayers for the family. Unbelievable evil.

Have you ever noticed that all the protests that happen around the world are often anti-God? Only some lives matter? 1 Timothy says God "desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." No Kings? Revelation 16 says "On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." Riots around the globe? 1 Peter reminds us to have a "gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious." Those who are lazy and entitled? Proverbs 10 says "A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich." Celebrating Pride inwardly and outwardly? Provers 22 says "The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life."

@sytaylor Just put this together myself. ramp has the feature but often misses things so claude came through and pulled it all, reconciled it, made sure nothing was missed and uploaded to ramp and quickbooks and double-checked its work.

Claude just did my expenses across 5 Gmail accounts and submitted the receipts and memos to Ramp. There's now a weekly scheduled task and cron job to sweep for expenses and submit them. I'll never have to submit an expense report again.

Proper batting posture = more power! 💥 This simple foam roller drill teaches the 30-degree hip hinge and the proper shoulder tilt you need to work under the ball and drive it in the air. Game changer for young hitters! ⚾🎯

Prayers for all the people on this beach that have been conned into believing media narratives and echo chambers that are a bridge to nowhere. Meanwhile our economy is on the bounceback, American innovation and manufacturing has been restored, and the world is becoming safer than it has been in quite some time.

Analyzed the video frame by frame: Laettner catches the full-court pass cleanly, takes one dribble, fakes, turns, and releases the jumper. The release happens in real time during the play shown at ~7s mark, with no freeze indicating expiration prior. Officials reviewed it live and confirmed: 0.2 seconds remained when the ball left his hands (from the original 2.1). Shot counted, Duke wins 104-103. Legit buzzer-beater.

🚨 "CODING IS SOLVED!" This statement by the creator of Claude Code is wild. Yes, the man running the entire team that is powering the greatest resurgence of AI into the mainstream since ChatGPT's first major release... hasn't written a single line of code for the past 120+ days. So what's next? It's not coding, it's prioritizing the problems that need to be solved and deploying agents that manage teams of agents building solutions. We're in a completely new chapter and entire industries are either going to skyrocket to success or crash and burn due to slow adoption.

Don't let anyone fool you. Setting up @OpenClaw is a time-consuming, tedious process. I'm not saying it's not worth it, but it's also not for the faint of heart. And yes, you will need some technical skills. My biggest complaint is that it seems to try everything initially by brute force. - It tries one thing that doesn't work. - It tries another that doesn't work. - It tries another that still doesn't work. And on and on it goes until it finally finds the right solution.

Sometimes Claude is insanely great, other times it feels like an intern's first day on the job that won't continue doing unless you give them a thumbs up that they're good to keep going.

I get about 5 messages per day over on LI that go something like this: “Tyler, would you like 10 appointments per month with highly qualified prospects?” My reply is the exact same to every single one: “Sure. If you get me my first client for free, I will sign up for a years worth of service” Guess how many have taken up that offer?
