Over 400,000 Bitcoin were accumulated between $60,000 and $70,000. This is the cushion absorbing sell pressure every time price dips. Don’t be so confident you’ll get another chance to buy much lower.

Here are 10 significant initiatives by @SuiNetwork & @MystenLabs that you don't want to miss. 1. Mysticeti V2: Making a Fast Blockchain Even Faster Sui already proved through Mysticeti last year that DAG-based consensus can achieve sub-second finality even under high load. However, it shouldn't stop at just being "fast" - minimizing CPU load on validators would be beneficial. Currently, while Mysticeti is fast, its dual-layer structure (broadcast layer & consensus layer) requires numerous signatures and message exchanges for transaction verification, which puts strain on CPU resources. Therefore, V2 aims to minimize complex cryptographic calculations and reduce the number of certificates by directly integrating the previously separate broadcast process into the DAG. This allows validators to dedicate more CPU resources to actual transaction execution, leading to reduced latency and increased transaction processing. 2. Achieving Infinite Scalability through Remora While Mysticeti addresses latency and resource issues, Remora solves transaction bottleneck problems. When processing hundreds of thousands of transactions per second, single validators will inevitably hit limitations regardless of hardware optimization. Thus, instead of researching more efficient single-validation systems, Sui chose to distribute workload across multiple systems. This means transitioning from traditional single-processing methods to a large-scale parallel system that can easily scale with additional hardware. Mysten Labs has already researched horizontal scaling possibilities through the Pilotfish study, with results exceeding expectations. Of course, Remora will be implemented cautiously as network stability is paramount. (While Sui's whitepaper mentions horizontal scaling through worker machines, it's not yet practically possible. Remora appears to be their attempt to make this a reality.) 3. Programmable Off-chain Transaction Channels Bitcoin has the Lightning Network, a Layer 2 solution that opens off-chain channels for micro-transactions and posts final values on-chain. Sui plans to add similar off-chain computing called Programmable P2P Tunnels. While Lightning Network focused solely on payments, Sui's solution can handle not only transfers but also transactions requiring computation, such as real-time game logic processing. It also supports multiplayer functionality, enabling implementation of more diverse use cases. For temporary game state storage, they plan to leverage networks like the @WalrusProtocol. They are currently researching P2P channels with Carnegie Mellon University. 4. SIP 45 - More Efficient MEV The core of this proposal is to dramatically increase the maximum allowable gas price from 99,999 to 1 trillion and enable immediate transaction broadcasting based on gas prices. When validators receive transactions with higher gas prices, they immediately submit them to consensus, with submission position determined by gas price. The main purpose is to resolve transaction order non-determinism issues and provide users opportunities to increase transaction priority through higher gas prices. Ultimately, SIP-45 aims to improve Sui blockchain's transaction processing to give users more control and enable transaction prioritization in specific situations. This allows users to compete by paying higher gas fees, expected to enhance overall blockchain efficiency and user experience. Eliminating MEV in blockchains is nearly impossible. What matters is how efficiently it can be utilized. 5. World Wide Walrus(@WalrusProtocol) Walrus's most notable feature is that, unlike existing Filecoin or storage solutions, developers can set rules for data and directly integrate with smart contracts. Mysten Labs emphasizes this by describing Walrus as programmable storage. Now people can store frontend files and large AI model data on-chain through Walrus. We'll cover Walrus in more detail soon. 6. SEAL, Data Privacy and Access Control While Walrus provides effective decentralized storage, the biggest issue with distributed systems is that everything is public. To implement various Web2-like applications in Web3, a framework is needed that provides data confidentiality while controlling access rights. That's where SEAL comes in. Those who have dealt with contracts online have likely experienced services like DocuSign. Contract contents are highly sensitive and must be kept private from the general public while granting access to specific individuals. SEAL allows users to create encryption policies as desired. For example, you can grant document viewing rights for just one week or set data to be shared only when specific events occur. Given how important data control and access permission settings are to companies and institutions, SEAL has high potential to become crucial infrastructure in the enterprise application era. 7. SCION: Protecting Packets No matter how securely a blockchain is built, security systems fail if network packets are intercepted due to internet instability. Thus, Sui plans to implement SCION in their validator network to eliminate single points of failure that can occur on the internet. SCION can create networks that prevent DNS hacking, block BGP hijacking, and withstand large-scale DDoS attacks. Sui aims to fully implement SCION by 2025. 8. Enhancing Developer Experience on Sui Network success ultimately depends on good developer experience. Sui will introduce RPC 2.0 for this purpose, abandoning JSON-RPC in favor of GraphQL. They plan to provide query functionality that perfectly complements Sui's object-centric model. They'll also introduce a new Move Registry. Finally, they'll launch the previously absent Sui Move Prover to further upgrade code accuracy. Move Prover is a tool helping developers verify code, with its main advantage being that developers don't need to learn a separate specification language - they can write verification specs using Move's assertion syntax alone. This will help Sui evolve into an even more developer-friendly platform. Lastly, regarding Budgar, a smart contract audit tool, I'm not yet fully convinced. As Calvin from Chainlight mentioned before, AI isn't yet at a level to replace humans in code auditing, but it's an initiative worth watching going forward. 9. SuiPlay(@SuiPlay) SuiPlay hardware is confirmed to launch this year. Already, over 65 studios are developing Sui-based games, with about 70 games awaiting release. Sui seems to expect that legacy gaming players can create an environment where assets are traded through Sui games and naturally exposed to the DeFi ecosystem. While we'll have to wait and see about this, as someone who ordered three Sui consoles, I plan to make the most of them. 10. @Atoma_Network This is Sui's AI-related initiative, which aims to enable AI agents to have individual crypto wallets for direct payments, optimize their microtransactions, ensure verified code execution, support data storage and AI model sharing through Walrus, and guarantee data is delivered as intended through on-chain DRM functionality. Through this, they aim to allow agents to autonomously build an economic ecosystem. Whether this is simply riding the AI hype or will truly establish Sui's unique ecosystem remains to be seen.
