2) We've been playing w/ injecting more opportunities for light, positive interactions in code reviews (we don't want code reviews to feel too heavy / negative / dreaded). Quickly add an inline emoji to give flowers or nudge someone to fix a nit.

So w/ Pierre, we've been rethinking A TON around discussion & code reviews. FIRST, everything is character based instead of line based. Turns out things become super clear when you can actually just highlight what you want to talk about. Spelled this wrong? Refactor these lines?

I noticed while driving today that Apple Maps is a lot more detailed than it was a few weeks ago. It has the colour of buildings, street lane markings and large trees! Here’s a nearby intersection on Apple Maps and Google Maps. Google has the tram tracks off the road entirely!

@tayser82 Shame that the line from Pakenham to Warragul was de-electrified.

Specifically, electrifying to the outer suburbs of Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo (across the various branches) and to Traralgon. That's probably going to cover 70-80% of total Vline rail services and effectively decarbonise all that travel.

Well, the pathway forward is clear and it's pretty much settled. To decarbonise Vline, we need to electrify the main BG trunk lines and invest in bi-mode stock from this point on. theage.com.au/national/victo…
