Globalism is an ecological threat. Evidence based living. Sustainable farming. Bullshit intolerant. To cure we need to diagnose correctly.

The black majority in RSA need to denounce poverty and embrace wealth openly.
Idleness in all its forms must be replaced by robust productivity, and credible wealth creation.
Do not vote for or support any champion of the poor, follow leaders who take you to financial and economic freedom and self-reliance.
Let us abandon these doctrines of poverty, ignorance and disease.
Abandon these doctrines of dying young, and chose to live all and healthy.
Wealth and financial independence have no substitute.

Pledge to My Fellow Black People in South Africa
We, the Black people of South Africa, solemnly pledge the following:
1. We will differ in opinion, but we will never destroy one another.
2. We will criticise and correct each other privately, over lunch or supper, and not on social media, where such divisions expose us to our enemies.
3. We recognise that the real enemy often works behind our leaders to keep Black people divided and leaderless.
4. Though we may feel angry and betrayed by our leaders, we will channel our frustration and voice our concerns through the ballot, and we will not attack our own leaders in front of the enemy.
5. We know that, just as there were impimpi and askaris during apartheid, there are still such elements among us today. Therefore, we pledge to close our ranks and remain vigilant.
6. We will not allow the poor decisions of our leaders to divide us as Black people. Instead, we will stay united and keep our focus on guarding our country so that it never falls back into the hands of our enemies.
7. We will tolerate our differences and refuse to become enemies because we disagree on certain issues. It is normal not to always agree, but we will never lose sight of our greater purpose.
8. We will love and support one another in the face of the enemy, no matter how strong our differences may be.
9. Above all, we will remember that what unites us is far greater than what divides us: our shared country, our nationality, our land, our seas, and our skies.
As Black South Africans, we make this pledge today, to stand together, to build rather than break, and to protect our future with unity and wisdom.
Together we are stronger. Together we will prevail.
I pledge.
We pledge.
South Africa, our home, we will defend and uplift you.

@Dzungie007 Ordinary people can unite but politicians are the problem.

@sandileswana Do we "see" race or do we see culture? Is there a basis for racial categories? The broad statistics shows inequality but it will be useful to rather discuss why it exists if we want to transform society. Any "treatment" not aimed at the root cause, is wasted.
English

Does it make sense for a South African not to see race when racism is the underlying unoffial but systemic and structural resource and opportunity allocation mechanism in South Africa. Visible economic indicators at society level show that economic apartheid is alive. How does one not see race in South Africa?
In the context of South Africa, the idea of "not seeing race" (often termed "colour-blindness") is widely considered by scholars and sociologists to be a conscious or subconscious denial of the country's profound structural and economic realities.
When race remains the primary determinant of socio-economic standing, and wealth distribution is still highly skewed along apartheid-era lines, "not seeing race" can serve to preserve the racial status quo.
However, the phenomenon of claiming not to see race exists, and it is largely understood through several psychological and sociological mechanisms:
System Justification and Denial: To maintain a belief that society is just and merit-based, individuals—particularly those from historically advantaged groups—may deny that systemic, structural racism still exists. This allows them to ignore the uncomfortable reality of persistent privilege.
Interpersonal vs. Structural Focus: Many South Africans focus on overt, individual acts of racism ("interpersonal") rather than acknowledging the subtle, invisible, and systemic, institutional practices that routinely disadvantage certain groups.
The "Non-Racialism" Confusion: While "non-racialism" is a foundational value of the South African Constitution aiming for a future where race does not matter, some interpret this as "not seeing race" now, which is seen by critics as a way to avoid taking responsibility for addressing the deep legacy of apartheid.
Economic Class as a Disguise: While racial divisions are stark, income inequality is often cited as the most significant dividing feature. Some people focus solely on class differences, ignoring that race is the primary driver of who falls into those lower economic classes.
Geographic and Social Segregation: Because residential areas and social worlds remain largely segregated, many citizens simply do not experience the daily realities of people from other race groups, making it easier to ignore the structural inequality that persists.
Conclusion
While "not seeing race" in South Africa does not make sense from a structural, historical, or economic standpoint—as race still shapes the allocation of resources and opportunity—it is a widely used social mechanism to cope with, or deny, the ongoing reality of "economic apartheid".
Key Data Points
Most Unequal Country: A 2022 report classified South Africa as the most unequal country in the world, with 80% of wealth held by 10% of the population.
Economic Inequality: Research shows that 30 years after apartheid, a strong correlation remains between race and socioeconomic standing, with black households significantly less wealthy than white households.
Persistence of Structural Racism: While overt, interpersonal racism is recognized, white participants in research studies often under-acknowledge the ongoing impact of structural racism, making it easier to claim they "do not see race".
English

@sandileswana Then why do we have BEE and AA? I have family members from three different "race groups" where does racial classification leave the mixed race kids? Nothing has changed - we are a pathetic society of racists

UNESCO asserts that all humans belong to a single species, Homo sapiens, and share a common origin. Scientifically, there is no biological basis for dividing humanity into distinct races, as genetic differences between any two humans are minimal, and we are one interconnected human race.
Key points regarding UNESCO's position:
Single Species: All individuals belong to one species, Homo sapiens, and possess a common ancestry.
No Biological Races: UNESCO confirms that "pure" races do not exist and that the concept of race is a social construct rather than a biological reality.
Commonality: Humans have more in common genetically than they have differences.
Against Racism: UNESCO argues that all theories claiming racial superiority or inferiority lack scientific foundation and are morally unacceptable.
Cultural Difference: Differences in skin color or other features are seen as biological variation resulting from environmental influences, not fundamental differences in humanity.
Support for Equality: UNESCO promotes the belief that all individuals, regardless of skin color, religion, or language, belong to one human race.
English

@Dzungie007 Your statement is racist. You are confusing my disgust in @MYANC and their corruption, nepotism and arrogance with a lack of patriotism. I love our flag, I cry when the rugby crowd sings our anthem, every atom in my body comes from Africa, every step I ever took was here.

English

@kimheller3 What will that change? We need to adress the true causes to really transform society. I propose we start with a village dialogue in every ward, town, suburb, village, & reach consensus. Then send a delegation to a multilevel assembly to formulate a plan. No political aliance.

@kimheller3 Lipstick & Overalls are colonial, motor vehicles are colonial, English is colonial, parliament is colonial. Cow manure floors are not colonial, sleeping on grass mats are not colonial, loin skins are not colonial.

@Constitution_94 I had to drive to another town to renew my car licence, our office's computer was stolen. I couldn't supply a postal address, we no longer have postal delivery. Our trains stopped, our chemist closed down. I bought extra petrol for my generator & two weeks bottled drinking water.

@DesBailes @kalliekriel There is context to this. They look 30 years old, in 1976 - so they are 80, if still alive. I am younger but I can remember the constant fear, peer pressure, doing national service to "prevent a communist soviet takeover", landmines, bombs,my dad disagreeing with the NP leaders.

Dear Christians, come inside, let’s talk.
JESUS CHRIST never went to EUROPE or AMERICA.
He was born in the Middle East and spent part of his early childhood in AFRICA.
JESUS CHRIST was a Middle Eastern Jewish man with BROWN SKIN, not a WHITE MAN ‼️
That image many of you circulate as JESUS, if you can, please take it down.
THE EARLY CHURCH BEGAN IN THE MIDDLE EAST, with Jerusalem at the center, before spreading into AFRICA and beyond.
CHRISTIANITY was later taken to EUROPE.
WE HAVE BRAINS. WE SHOULD USE THEM WISELY 👏

@PeterSweden7 I differentiate between god (1), that entity created in human conscience through evolution that kept individuals under control with moral rules, so that the tribe can survive. And GOD (2) that has always been, is everywhere, the sum of matter and energy.
English

What is your best logical argument for the existence of God?
I have two arguments that are very compelling...
Argument number 1:
The universe must logically have had a beginning.
If it had a beginning, then that beginning must have had a cause.
That cause must be outside of this universe and outside of time.
An eternal, all powerful source. In other words, God.
The other option would be that the universe, time and matter was eternal. Which would per definition place it in the category of supernatural, which is absurd.
Argument number 2:
If good and evil exists, that means God must also exist.
Why? Because God is what gives the ultimate compass for what is objectively good and evil. Without God, an higher power that is all knowing and perfect, moral laws become subjective to each one of us.
You cannot have moral law without a moral law giver.
We can observe and logically understand that objective moral laws do indeed exist.
We can clearly see that evil, that which goes against the objective moral law, does exist.
Therefore good, that which follows the objectively moral law, must also exist.
And if those are true, therefore then, God exists.

@Thuso1Africa @KhandaniM The population was 40mil in 1994. The availability of services was determined by affordability, not race. Maybe also compare the debt Eskom is carrying now.

Apartheid government provided 24 hours electricity to only 5 million white people in a country of 60 million people. The current government provides electricity to all 60 million people. The current government is doing a better job compared to the apartheid government. Tsek

The MK Party has launched a private members' bill to change the constitution. They want to remove Section 235 from the Constitution. This means that they want to outlaw self-determination based on cultural or linguistic values. Why?

@LungaMrhetjha As long as we lie to ourselves about the causes of inequality, poverty & crime we wont solve them. For eg: BEE does not fix the cause of inequality, hate speech law does not end racism, all pay does not address poverty - it increases it. Child grants dont reduce child suffering.

Biggest lies in South Africa
1. 3 Indian Brothers captured the state
2. Bantu Migration
3. Mfecane Wars

5. The state is running out of money
6. Zuma’s Nuclear Deal would've bankrupted the state
7. SARB is independent
8. Investors are leaving
9. Black South Africans are lazy
10. The scraping of minimum wage and BEE will lead to economic growth
