@dodger_daily Keep sending him out there. It’s not like they are struggling for wins. How better to straighten him out than in the majors?

What to do with Roki? It's not as simple as "put him in the pen". If you do that and change course, it's hard to reverse. We saw that with Ben Casparius last year, it's hard to do. So, if the Dodgers did pull that trigger, it would, IMO, need to be a long-term decision, not one that is re-evaluated in a month. So that leaves you with the two options of letting him continue to try and grow with LA as a starter, or sending him to OKC to refine his process as a starter. I would be in favor of ANY of the 3, but only with the caveat that he's not gonna be flipped back and forth. #dodgers

@bleednucksblue This is a real take? He could have 10 massive FA fails recently but he has two straight titles. End of story.

Andrew Friedman has massively failed on 3 FA signings over the last 2 years but because he got Ohtani who only wanted to be in California & got Yamamoto who only wanted to be with Ohtani while prior to that being gifted Betts & Freeman you won’t hear a single thing about it.

@TheAstrosLocker Not just the money. You have to have money and everything else to built a franchise like this. Look at the Mets…

FOH with the prospect talk like they didn’t just pay Kyle Tucker $60M a year to be their fifth‑best hitter. The Dodgers are the best team in baseball because their payroll sits in its own tax bracket, miles above almost every other franchise, full stop. They have unlimited financial resources, so they’re not forced for trade prospects as much as other teams. When they do move someone good, it doesn’t matter. They can cover any mistake with another massive, deferred contract without blinking. The only meaningful difference between them and other well‑run teams is the budget. They’re the Rays with a stack of blank checks. They’ve drafted and developed very few true stars in the last decade; they bought the rest. Any conversation that ignores their spending is disingenuous at best. Stop acting like they’re some feel‑good story built on plucky underdogs and homegrown talent.
Nelson Espinal@nelson__espinal

This is why the Dodgers are the best-run franchise in baseball. Andrew Friedman, rather than trading his prospects, keeps them and figures things out later. He kept Dalton Rushing even with Will Smith in the fold, and now Rushing is breaking out.

Is it uncouth to ask why Ohtani doesn’t ever play the outfield? I understand when he couldn’t throw. I can understand the day before or after he’s pitching But…he’s the greatest athlete we’ve ever seen and he can’t play 9 innings in LF once a week to give someone a day off?
Dennis Lin@dennistlin

Fernando Tatis Jr., who sometimes takes grounders at second base, will make his first big-league start at the position tonight, with Nick Castellanos in right field. Tatis made one late-game appearance at second in 2023. He started 10 games there early in his minor-league career.

I really want the Dodgers to figure out a way to play Dalton Rushing more He should NOT be traded and he is too good to play every once every 3-4 days. Can he learn 2B, even 3B and Muncy moves back to 2B sometimes and we do some platooning / off days. x.com/BarnHasSpoken2…
