1st August, 2024 (End bad governance protest) in Jos, Plateau State‼️ I was in this crowd alongside other protesters. Christians surrounded Muslims, guarding them while they prayed, we bought bags of pure water to share to them to carry out their ablution. On Sunday of that protest, Muslims surrounded Christians, guarding them while we held our service. We had one voice, one cry. There was no fight amongst us at the protest ground (but when some miscreants tried to misbehave, they were immediately dealt with). Rather, the fight was against the government . Imalms and Pastors shared one podium to speak with one voice. This was like a new revolution for us in Jos, Plateau State and all of us were happy about it. This is the Jos we know, the Plateau we know. My desire is for Jos to heal again and to come out of this stronger than ever. It won’t happen by a miracle or prayers, we need to make a deliberate effort and tell ourselves the truth, fish out the miscreants amongst us who are causing these troubles regardless of Religion and Tribe. Oh my Jos ‼️ Oh my Plateau‼️ Let us fight for the peace on the Plateau 😫💔🤲🏽

FROM JOS CITY This is the current situation in Jos city. Honestly, the situation is not good. Members of the Birom ethnic group are angry and have come out hunting Muslims. They are not obeying the government or security authorities. Any Muslim who dares to enter their area risks being killed. Inform your fellow travelers to avoid entering Jos at this time. Those who are already in the city should please stay indoors until the situation calms down. Let everyone remain peaceful, cooperate with the security authorities, and continue praying that Allah restores peace and exposes those causing unrest in Jos.

They have been spreading claims that Muslims are carrying out systematic killings of Christians. They insult Islam, Muslims, and Allah, our Lord, and spread religious hate speech and incitement toward conflict. There are photos of this foreigner holding firearms taken in his home country. He is being alleged to be either a CIA agent or connected to some armed group. Day before yesterday, he attended the funeral of two Christians who were killed in the Barikin Ladi area, of Plateau State, Pastor Ezekiel Dachomo gave Alex the opportunity to speak, and in his speech, he quoted verses about jihad from the Qur’an in an attempt to incite Christians to take up arms against Muslims. Following the attack that occurred tonight in the Rukuba area, Alex appeared at the scene after roads had been blocked and the bodies of Muslims burned, and he recorded this video. In his remarks, he went as far as threatening our country’s president, Tinubu, saying that Tinubu would regret allowing Muslims to kill his fellow Christians in Nigeria. We are calling on the Nigerian government not to be negligent, but to carry out a thorough investigation into this foreigner and his associates in Nigeria. We do not know what they may be planning in secret. Their statements are inciting the public, and they could do anything to provoke unrest and conflict. We maintain that the killings taking place are not connected to any religion. If some criminal Muslims commit acts of violence, they do not represent Muslims or Islam. This CIA agent is carrying out a psyops operation to recruit willing agents, stir their anger and put guns in their hands to go and start killing in the name of religious war he was trying to inflame. In reality, the U.S. strategic interests in Nigeria is the massive mineral reserve of the middle belt of Nigeria. The mineral deposits that is estimated to be similar to that of democratic republic of the Congo. The seismic study of the mineral resources of the Benue and Niger basin, upto River Quorra (Kwara) is akin to that of the ones obtainable in the DRC. History is replete with such occurrences all over the world, in Sudan, Congo, Kurds etc. Nigerian government must take active measure in urgently arresting and prosecuting this guy, or repatriating him to his country and ban him from ever visiting Nigeria again. And Nigeria government should also up their game in dealing with issues of terrorism and terrorist activities in the middle belt and all over Nigeria. Nigeria government must take responsibility to fix our internal security issues and prevent merchants of violence from putting Nigeria into a very dangerous precedent. In case you don’t know, what caused Rwandan genocide was not the hatred between the Tutsis and Hutus, that was just the trigger. The main cause of the genocide was the neighboring mineral rich democratic republic of the Congo. That was why they world did nothing as they killer themselves, then the managers of such violence came forward and promoted one of the warlords, Paul Kagame, to guarantee the peaceful evacuation of the minerals of the DRC. More that anything else, that led to the development of Rwanda. It wasn’t Kagame’s genius, but his ability to keep the minerals tap flowing to the instigators of the violence’s coffers, while maintaining the region in check on agreed terms. Nigerians should be too mature to be lured into such a trap.
