I don’t really know what you intend to achieve with this narrative, but the Kano–Maradi Standard Gauge Rail Line was initiated by President Muhammadu Buhari, who personally performed the foundation stone laying ceremony for the project. Construction work commenced immediately afterward, and the project had already reached a considerable stage before he handed over to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in May 2023. Continuity in governance is important as major national infrastructure projects often span multiple administrations, but credit should always be given where it is due.
