Accused over a TV series script: Journalist Hidayet Karaca enters his 12th year in Silivri prison The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) ruled that journalist Hidayet Karaca, who was detained before July 15, suffered a violation of his rights. The court found his prolonged detention unlawful and ordered Turkey to pay him €18,000 in compensation.
