I've been playing 6's competitively since 2013, and more seriously since 2018. This was the perfect way to call it quits: first ECL championship in over 4 years. Even though this might be the best team I've ever played on, it's time to start focusing my evenings on other things like family, content, hockey. If the tournaments grow or I feel the urge to return in the future, I’ll be back, but this is it for now. My 6's trophy cabinet: 4X ECL🏆, 4X Finnish🏆, 1x Swedish🏆 2x ESHL🏆 I've played with a lot of great players over the years, but I want to shout out two in particular. @jpaatiala, who I've played with basically my entire 6's career (539 total ECL games together, the most out of any duo). Goat C and a great friend ❤️ And @NikkeDangles who's one of, if not the best player I’ve played with. This final championship wouldn’t have happened without him joining this project. I've said this before, but I've never understood why more players aren’t into 6's. 6v6 is easily the most fun mode in NHL: no CPUs, no crazy glitches, and most importantly, team and friends. It resembles real hockey so much more than any other mode. It’s always been my favorite to play. EA should put more focus on it when making and promoting the game in my opinion. Ggs. For now.
