At the end of 2025, two South Dakotans who were two long-time collegiate teachers, leaders and football coaches were interviewed about their faith and lives. A native of Lebanon and Faulkton, Jim Kretchman was an All-American running back at Northern State University in Aberdeen. He went on to teach, coach and become NSU’s athletic director. A native of Selby and a former NSU assistant coach, John Stiegelmeier is a South Dakota State University graduate who went on to become that school’s all-time winningest football coach. Both men captured numerous honors and championships. They were interviewed by Aberdeen residents Steve Graf and Arne Svarstad. The Kretchman-Stiegelmeier interview can be found on YouTube. @GoJacksFB @GoJacksSDSU @GoJacksJFPA @WolvesAthletics @NSUWolves_FB @nsuwolves_wbb @nsuwolves_mbb youtube.com/watch?v=_qg3DY…
