This is just awful and incredibly stupid any way you cut it Part of what’s so sad is celebrities and politicians can easily monetize their fame without scamming Like you can still launch a coin and not rug, leave the LP alone, create some utility (like meet and greets with holders or governance votes on what tiktok dance you do next), be upfront with people about what they’re buying into, don’t make promises you can’t fulfill (like solving antisemitism wtf), only sell slowly over time if the utility is working out You can probably make more money doing that and not trash your reputation or get sued Blockchains have created unprecedented, extraordinarily powerful tools for coordination, monetization, and value distribution And it’s real and working and being used by millions around the world, with more assets being tokenized and real business building on top And then when it comes to celebrities using blockchains, they basically just act like retarded scammers that don’t even realize the transactions are public

Eric Adams, former NYC major, has just removed liquidity of his new memecoin, $NYC, scamming investors for over $2,536,301 He launched a $NYC memecoin just 30 minutes ago, and has removed its liquidity after promoting it on his personal social media, claiming to be the NYC token

Proud to launch @buynyctoken, a new token built to fight the rapid spread of antisemitism and anti-Americanism across this country and now in New York City. Now live at BuyNYCtoken.com
