This is the most thoughtful and thorough review of "Deleveled" I've seen and the whole site is a joy to read. I'm more than a little excited to dig into "Chrono Trigger vs. Earthbound" later.

@jpnance Neat! A few weeks ago Parker Higgins showed me his awesome-looking program solver with green and black squares; it looked like something out of "Tron"! (Not tagging him here just to avoid spoilers on today's puzzle.)

@evanbirnholz It's a solve-order thing: the first 50% of squares solved are the lightest color, the next 25% are a little darker, the next 12.5% are darker still, and then the final 12.5% are the darkest. I've been thinking about making a similar visualization that's time-based.

Breakpoint's launching soon, which means it's time to reflect. Back in Nov. 2019, when people could still gather, the very first version of Breakpoint was created at a game jam. It won judges' choice in that jam, and we went on to make it a real thing.

Switch 版のみだと思うけど、 １０面だけ電子回路な背景アニメのせいでゲーム全体が処理落ちしてました （体感、60FPSで動いてたものが30FPSになる程度なので、ゲームプレイへの影響は少ないです） レベルデザイン的には８面が一番シンドかったかな アイテムのせいで試せるパターンが増えすぎ増えすぎ
