@Meodread @Grabaka_Hitman Yeah I think we agree on the main point 🤝 If the ufc was a league table where the top 10 all fought each other, I doubt bisping would have ever ended on top, but he took his moment when it presented itself.

@jr27790 @Grabaka_Hitman Sure. But I also admitted that at the beginning. What Jones is doing is worse, is a level higher, is more ridiculous. Just Bisping is guilty of the same crimes (minus Jones has been more of an author than I think Bisping was) just at a lower level.

@jr27790 @Grabaka_Hitman No one is asking for him to be blamed the same way. This is just yes you did a very similar thing and probably are not the best point man for jabbing Jones. There title reigns have VERY similar asterisks.

@Meodread @Grabaka_Hitman I understand your point but I struggle to blame bisping in the same way as Jones. He was offered easier fights for more money, of course he said yes. Jones is just holding the belt hostage without fighting.

@jr27790 @Grabaka_Hitman But again we have the same core issue: We an IC champion The Champion is not fighting that IC champion and us instead fighting old washed fighters or fighters from other weightclasses. Yes the core issue is the same. Just worse.

Hendo was a bit of a gift for sure but they just wanted to do a Manchester card while he was champ. Then gsp picked bisping as the easiest belt for him to win. I don't think bisping ever avoided anyone.

@jr27790 @Grabaka_Hitman I think you can. Again what Jones is doing is what Bisping did on Steroids. It is much worse. But it is what Bisping did. Win belt. Fight an old man for completely personal reasons. Avoid actual contenders.

@Meodread @Grabaka_Hitman I agree it was wild that hendo got that title shot, but they did book that fight relatively quickly and wasn't like they kept a clear number 1 contender waiting a silly amount of time like they are doing now at heavyweight. I don't think you can really compare the two situations.

@jr27790 @Grabaka_Hitman Yes and that defence was against a 40 plus year old ranked outside the top 10. Bisping is objectively correct but as a guy who did the mini version of what Jones is doing....he is not the correct messenger.
